I was going to be a smart elec and say an association football team as opposed to american-football, but goddamnit why do you have to ruin my fun?

Anyway - I don't think I actually have a favorite football team. I don't watch it all that often even though it's my favorite sport - but that's not saying much because I dislike most sports and I'm only slightly partial to assoc football.
I'm going to have to say either Manchester United or Germany National Football team because those are the only ones I actually know, ahaha. (Wow, it's been a while since I've used an emoticon from Gaiarch...)

My international footbal/soccer team, the part who people actually care, would be Chelsea, and the one in my country, which nobody cares about, is Internacional (the one from Porto Alegre).

And my national footbal team would be Argentina or any European country. I've always hated Brazil for the lulz and now that the team is crap and can't do crap as well I always go against it.

yeah but its a lot more common in soccer because they have no idea how to score points.
