Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: The Hunger Games

@Silverstar:
I didn't say anything about the book, I haven't read it so I can't say anything about it, and the book is pretty much always better than the movie.

The shaky camera work is not intended to hide gore: in the very beginning when they're just talking it's shaky as hell already. It actually gets better as the movie progresses towards the 'violent' parts. Plus, random flashes between close-ups of faces, really bad.

About the love triangle: again, haven't read the book, I'm talking purely about the movie as I clearly stated in full caps.

They could have kept it PG13 easily: Katniss does shoot one guy at some point. If that is allowed, why not show the rest?

I don't care about what the people who hate the hunger games said. I have luved the Hunger Games and I always WILL luv the hunger games.

It's sad that I haven't seen the movie yet, but I wish to see it...soon... I will not listen to the bad reviews and I will LUV IT.

FYI, I agree with SilverStar29.

Thanks for completely proving my fanboy point //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile

Re: The Hunger Games

I think people dislike the movie for two reasons:
1. They REALLY don't want to try to like it.
2. They think the action and story is dumb.

I love the Hunger Games and have a solution to try to get more fans.

Below is a preview of the beginning of the Hunger Games book. If you like it, or maybe want to adventure as to reading the book or watching the movie, go right ahead! And who knows, maybe you will become a fan! //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile

Back to that dunger games thing: what about the douger games? All the kids from 19 kids and counting kill each other.

Re: The Hunger Games

i have no idea what that is but it doesn't rhyme.

book 2 was called catching fire. it was 2 pages long. all it is is the main character spontaneously combusting and burning into soot.

An excerpt from the book (the excerpt being the entire book):

"...and Katniss walked away. Then all the sudden, she spontaneously combusted! And she died. The end."

(Although I think Spontaneous Combustion has been proven wrong.

Re: The Hunger Games

If you mean SHC has been proven to be fake/staged/incorrect, not talking about the books (which I haven't read), SHC is taken somewhat seriously I believe, and not that it adds credibility to it, I have a phobia of SHC.

In the movie, it was hard to tell what was going on, but it kind of makes sense
Shaky camera: anxiousness/tension ?

hard to see things during fights/when people are rolling around, just like we're in the fight, etc

when the wasps cause hallucinations, you can't tell what happened very well
Also: I didn't like the fifth/six Harry Potter movies very much :s, they took out so much and made it into a romance.
