Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I joined because I kept getting trap kicked (a bug where you would leave the world because you were trapped in a 1x1 space while not in god mode, this was fixed ages ago).
I want to know what caused you people join?

Well I wasn't doing ANYTHING social on the computer, then after I played the game I saw "Forums" and I thought "What's more social than a forum?" and here I am today
Whenever I go on the forum, it means I'm bored. That's the reason why I joined it.

I think my first ever post was for my first ever level.
I came here and made a topic to see everyone's worlds. Guess that's why I joined.

I joined because I wanted to.
Eastercontest
I was bored and about ready to quit EE when I saw this.
I was on the EE page and I was all, 'this looks different.'
'oh, look, forums, I should sign up so I can at least say I signed up really early'
And I did. And I do.

I thought "Nice game, should join the forum."
I think I joined this forum before it was officially linked on everybodyedits.com. There was a forum.everybodyedits.com, which was a bit more formal compared to this one. It wasn't used a whole lot though, and the players back then relied more upon the Nonoba chatroom and various Tinychat rooms which spread by advertising in the game. I found out that this place existed when someone entered the Tinychat I was into at the time, and spammed the link to here. I'm not sure, but I think that the someone was Cyclone, but I can't be too certain about that.
I joined because I more or less consumed everything related to Everybody Edits at the time, how stupid that might sound. I also wanted to tell whoever though that this was supposed to be the "official forum" that they were wrong, and that the official forum could be found at forum.everybodyedits.com. I have a vague memory that Cyclone told me that this forum got thumbs up from Chris, and Cyclone requested permission to spawn this forum before he went ahead and did so. A few days later a link to this board appeared on everybodyedits.com, and thus cleared up most of my suspicion.
I think I were one of the earliest members of this forum; at least one of the first 10 or so who registered.
Edit:

Seems that I wasn't in top 10 after all but rather in top 20, scoring in as member #16. Beaten to top 15 by Zoey, who I seem to recall registered some minutes before me.

I was 3670th (My other account skullz17).
I wanted to know the commands(/reset, /loadlevel etc) and when I searched google the forums came up(I was looking for /reset so I typed something like how to teleport everyone to spawn point). They said you needed chat so I tried without chat and it worked, so then I made an account and posted that you don't need chat but then Cyclone said that the topic was in topic graveyard and you needed chat at the time it was posted.
I was incative for a while so I forgot my pass for skullz17. For some reason I didn't get emailed a new pass so then I had to make skullz16(well atleast my rep has gone up 11 rep than it was for skullz17).

I enjoy reading the posts of the old EE players. Zoey2070 and Watashii join on the same day. Somehow the link was just new to Zoey, and the link was nonexistent to Watashii.

I was afraid of forums, so I came here, and got over my fear.
This is a friendly forum.
I had some questions related to bugs and other stuff i didn't know how to fix, and since i have no chat i had to find the answers on the forums.
I saw the link and I was bored so I clicked it
I avoided the forums until someone wanted me to join for whatever reason.
I joined the forum when I realized not having chat seperated me from some of the people I adored on EE. I thought about joining for weeks, but it wasn't until later when I found that EX Crew Shift was accepting (and still very much is [hopefully!]) submissions to use in their fantastic level. That level was (and still very much is) my favorite level, and contributing to that fine piece of work would make me feel more involved and welcomed in EE (and there actually is a fan-made level made by myself in Shift). Then later, I discovered that many more things were possible to do by joining the forum. So I made sure it didn't cost money, read the rules six times, and then made an account. If it wasn't for this account, I doubt I would still be playing EE. And if it wasn't for Nou creating a Shift contest to include some fan-made levels (or making Shift with Cyphie and others for that matter), I wouldn't have thought about making an account. So basically, Nou is the main reason I joined. If it wasn't for him (or Gamefudge for advertising the level in one of my school's computers), I wouldn't have made an account, joined EE, took interest, or even noticed it at all. So really, Nou is the reason I joined.
Since I didn't have chat on EE, I felt like I needed more popular communication to EE besides that EE forum on Kongregate. I've even wanted to PM ideas to RPGMaster2000 so he could pass them over to Chris, and he never checked his Kongregate PMs.
WHERE I found it:
My Brother < Kongregate < Kongregate Multiplayer Games < Everybody Edits < EE Promo Video (When I was a guest) Link Advertising everybodyedits.com At The End < Top Right Corner of everybodyedits.com
