Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

A friend's death...

My friend? 'bob' told me he was committing suicide because he can't deal with life. I've told him not to do it, and to think about all the people in his life who care about him. He still did it. However, I'm not sure if I should believe it or not? mainly because of all the drama seeking people out there who lie CONSTANTLY about them killing themselves because they want attention from others. It? it just makes it hard to trust people when they say they do and when they do, it's shocking.

So, I just would like some moral support if he did do it. I'll be watching the news, searching the internet for any signs of a teen dying.

PLEASE. For the love of god, BE SERIOUS. I do not care if this is the internet or whatever, I want this topic to be 100% serious and caring, because if he actually did do it you'd feel like like an asshat for being rude.

I'm not saying his name, so refer to him as bob or him, he, they, etc.

So sad...enough to make me frown...

I haven't seen any marks left behind about this "Teenager Bob" you're talking about, though.

He's in California? also, he would do it because he's been bullied at school? I just don't know what to do anymore...

Also, what's hard to get or comprehend is that he has a 'sister' that he never told me about. Until he did it.. oh and he was found and is going to the hospital in 'critical condition'? honestly, I feel that it's all a big joke...

Re: A friend's death...

I'm going to ask the mods to excuse his double posting.

Alright if he is telling the truth it's good he's in the hospital bad that it's critical condition. They'll find out and put him in therapy, which helps most people but still a bit dangerous to himself. If he's gone that far with being bullied in school they'll finally take some goddamn sense and stop it. And some people just don't like talking about their family

If he's lying He's being a major derp.

I would assume that the double post would be excluded from the rules because it's adding information to the thread in a different post ? or its just me being lazy to edit the one before it? a little of both and a little bit that I don't like the "edited by?" part when you do.

Anyways, he's 'burned' himself or so he has told me? also I apparently don't care for some rather stupid reasons mainly me not believing that he actually did it? but then it's not every day your best friend up and kills himself.

Let it be known that I do care about him.

Re: A friend's death...

Explain to him why, that you were just suspicious, he'll hopefully understand. However, if he's in critical condition how did he get out so fast and explain it to you..?

Re: A friend's death...

I had a friend that wanted to kill herself (Or she might have been attention seeking, she is like that) anyways she was jumping out of windows to try and hurt herself. So what I did was jump out of one and that scared her into not doing it anymore.

I can't quite tell from what you've written, who told you that "he was found and is going to the hospital in 'critical condition' - his [previously unmentioned] sister told you this? Or he told you?

Re: A friend's death...

I think in life we will most definetly all meet someone who wants to end their life because they are sad, got bullied, bad family and just don't like themselves as they.

All through primary school I got bullied, I had no friends. Most afternoons the bullies would follow me home and beat me up, some days I go to school and I find my belongings missing and then find them later in the toilets. I had stones thrown at me and other stuff, all because I was a 'nerd'.
But all of that never wanted to make myself end my life, I have so much to live for and by being a 'nerd' I can most likely surpass them in life, I will be a man with money to spare and the bullies would be at Mc'Donalds trying to earn some money for smokes.
Look forward to the future, not what is happening now. Those is my words to him.

Re: A friend's death...

How sad... I have never encountered someone who actually tried to kill themselves. You have a bad taste for friends. Hence the title, did he actually die?

Re: A friend's death...

If he died... Try to think of what happened during the time he felt like commiting suicide. Something was obviously going on. You should call the authorites and let them know if something bad was going on between him and someone else.

If he's alive... Get his parents to talk to him. Although it may have been a family matter, he needs to know that he still has a family that wants in their lives. Talk to his friends. Talk to anyone he may have known. Try to understand what he was upset about.

I hope everything gets sorted out. WevBh.png

You may...
...post multiple times in a row if they are about different, relevant, topics.

I'd say he's fine.

Re: A friend's death...

I don't know why he did it. For those saying call his parents or to talk him out of it, I tried to talk him out of it and I can't call him because he's not near me ? as in not in the same state. Also, he's told me in the past that he burns himself because he needs to "escape" and I don't have a bad taste in friends, it just happened so suddenly that I pretty much had no time to react or try to convince him out of it. I've also told him to get help but he kept saying that people will find out that he hurts himself (the burns) and all that.

Anyways, if you don't want the "edited by?" part, just follow these steps:

01. Edit the post.
02. Highlight the whole post.
03. Right-click.
04. Click "Copy".
05. Go back.
06. Delete your post.
07. Make your reply.
08. Do #3.
09. Click "Paste".
10. Insert the rest of your post.

This can also be useful if you're the last one posted and you want to bump it without breaking the rules by double-posting.

On-Topic:

Still heard no evidence about people with any of these conditions dying because he didn't like his life...

Anyway, does he happen to check this sub-forum?

Re: A friend's death...

oh, he's an internet friend. hard to do stuff other than try and get in contact with the police near where he lives. it is hard to tell if he was lying the whole time or actually did hurt himself and go to the hospital if you can't talk to him personally. sorry for this happening.

look at this. krubby being serious. what next?

Re: A friend's death...

A friend of his who is in California told me that he was just having a "bad day" from family problems. But thanks for the support even though I really didn't need it I guess. :/ I guess for a 'reward' for being helpful, I'll give someone + rep...
