Best Night Ever!

So tonight was my awards night at school. I already knew I was getting a scholarship in art, which, is awesome, but little did I know I also got picked for #1 senior in art!

I got a nice shiny metal.

I also got a small award for music.

Then aftwewards I convinced my mom to take me out for icecream xD

Best night ever!

Here is me accepting one of my awards from the principal.

Umm... I don't mind really. I mean I am slightly overweight but it doesn't bother me. And I mean I'm still probably considered an "amateur" at art but that is why I am going to college to learn.

Do you have any example of your art.

I do have a few piece I would like to share, but pretty much anything I've done that's good my art teacher still has because she displays it in the hallways XP , I can post some pics later though. My newest projects include: A clay gargoyle (which I will be selling at a local art fair), a font made of cats, a moose carved out of sand (which I cannot post because I gave it away to one of my teachers) then there are a couple of figure drawings that I've done recently that are pretty good.

Well my art teacher is very strict. The assignments are usually kind of boring but very precise. IE: We had to make African Masks from paper mache and they had to look african. Or so she said

I do have lots of better ideas for things, but rules are rules. : P
