Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Hmm, so it sounds like you want to learn HTML.   I'm decent in HTML; http://www.w3schools.com/ is a great place to learn HTML.   Just ask me if you need help. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile

Re: HTML

I was interested in HTML a couple years ago. To this day I probably know, maybe, 2 or 3 different declarations. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue

It's not very flexible, really. You can use it for websites, but that's just about it.

Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

You dont get programming, Its not just one long code for everything. If you learn what each "Small code" does, you can then create almost anything.

http://php.net/manual/en/index.php

This is the PHP manual. By looking at it you should understand slightly better the need for tutorials. Nobody wants to manually look through everything to find the functions they will use the most. They use tutorials to find those, then the manual for extra stuffs.

Once you learn every article, or at least the ones you need, there's still format. Just because a program works does not mean it's good programming. It can be unstable, insecure, sloppy, bug-ridden. There are whole classes (year-long) that are dedicated to programming methodology - programming stable and bug-free programs.

HTML, however, is completely different. But it is complex nonetheless, and you can still have a difficult time getting what you want.
