Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Are we talking about blue people Avatar   here? I thought that was good. At least it wasn't shamalamalayanahanamanan.

They both suck. But Shaylalalalalalalalalalalalaman is intergalactic vacuum itself. Also, I refuse to not refer to the series as Avatar just because someone remade Pocahontas with blue people and fancy graphics (that all noobs like because of course content is unimportant).

I always refer to him as mmm-night Shmalaya-ding-dong.

EDIT:
It's also chock full of sappy, unrealistic situations. Like when Bolin sees Korra kissing Mako. He's freaking sad, and he honestly should've stayed that way for quite a while. But no, it was in the interest of the episode that he all the sudden be okay again, and look! Everyone's friends now!

That stuff also happened in Avatar. I'm sure they'll get back to it sometime.

Best of all, his name was Iroh, which automatically makes him awesome.

You're not making sense. Iroh and Zuko are 2 different characters.

You're not getting it, Zuko had a son and he named him Iroh and Iroh II's voice actor is Zuko's voice actor from A:LA
An another point, I wonder what will make Korra go into avatar state, I think it'll be because Mako or Tenzin gets seriously injured

Re: Avatar: the Legend of Korra

I heard that it doesn't include Aang, if so then it must suck hard.
I loved "The Last Airbender" series, it was truly amazing, but if it's missing Aang then it's less of a relation with what
started its popularity.

Re: Avatar: the Legend of Korra

I love how the target audience for this show is just for the people who saw the original series, not for children.

And instead of Aang, this finale is supposed to have Zuko in it.

@Nou: No, what I mean is that the last line of the last episode was "As you wish, General Iroh." (And of course, from the voice actor you could tell it was Zuko's son.) And also of course, if you were Zuko, you'd know exactly what you would name your son. If I were him, I wouldn't just make it his first name and middle name (Iroh Iroh), I would make it his first name TWICE (Iroh Iroh Iroh, I guess). Wouldn't you?

On another note: Aang was such an effing tank.

Korra better go into the Avatar State this finale, otherwise I'll be really mad. She has yet to.

When she does go into it...that's all the past avatars put together, including Aang, Roku, Kyoshi...It will be....ridiculous.

Re: Avatar: the Legend of Korra

Last episode was great. For a moment there I thought Korra would have to relearn earth/fire/water bending in the coming seasons. I wonder what's gonna happen next. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait quite a while for season 2 again //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile

It's out?
I usually wait until I see people posting new-episode-content-containing GIFs before I start watching the new one.

I can only wonder what on Earth the second season is going to be about. (c what I did thar?)

Maybe a bloodbending triad that tries to take over or something. But that was "so last season, ugh"

The thing is, the government does suck.

On the council, there are five benders, and no non-benders (there are probably more non-benders than benders)

So yeah.

I thought that too, btw, that three people in the council just jump to everything they hear and do not think what they did.
There must be 4 benders (one of every kind) and 4 non-benders so everything can be equal.

Haha, how did I forget to mention that? I got so excited too when the Fire Nation woman got so much screen time about her personally (about 20 seconds) before being captured.

Re: Avatar: the Legend of Korra

Amon will most likely be back, remember Zuko?

Season 1 with Zuko : OMG He's the qorst guy ever! Soooo evil!!!
Season 2-3 Okay, getting better OMG now he's good guy!

So if Amon (or shouldI say Noatak?) is alive he (according to my beliefs) will be a good guy

Nah, he's not gonna be good. Maybe alive, like how Zuko survived that explosion, but doubtful.

Anyway, he won't be good, he "truly believes that bending is the source of all evil in the world." Not something you let go of easily.

Actually bending isn't the source of all evil, it's the people using it wrong. If there are bad people somewhere, they will use all the things for evil.

Example:
Good- Korra,Tenzin etc.
Bad- Tarrlok and that guy who is the champion of the bending game

@Baticon: ...lol, that wasn't said about me, it was said about Amon. XD

@JEC: Agreed, Tahno was never really said to have done anything bad, it was just his appearance.

Re: Avatar: the Legend of Korra

Wasn''t gonna watch this til people on Facebook convinced me to. So I watched the entire season in one night. It was worth it.

At times it's goofy. They have to be; they're on Nickelodeon. I still thought it had enough depth so satisfy the older audience. The action was really well done. I could've done with less slow motion because the mosre you use it the less dramatic it seems. Having Zuko's voice actor voice his grandson was just out-of-place. His voice did not fit the character at all and if you've watched The Last Airbender than it was just confusing. My biggest complaint was probably how rushed it felt. A second season's been confirmed and there's already this full character ark and this full story ark. The second season will have very little to do with the first one. However, I've read this is the creator's intention. I'm just curious to see how it'll turn out. There also didn't seem to be any moral dilema. Amon is fighting for equality, albeit through extreme means, yet the main character doesn't question whether she's doing the right or wrong thing. She's just like, "Oh hey, bad guys, pew pew pew." When it was discovered that Amon could bloodbend, I don't see why everyone turned against him. He was only using his bending for his cause, yet everyone turned on him. Weird.

All in all though, it was an excellent watch. The pro bending was pretty cool as some mindless action as relief from the main story. The characters were all fantastic as was their voice acting. Tarlok and Noatok's backstory was incredible. Some of the stuff they managed to air on Nick, a kids' channel, was unbelievable (as in awesome). THE BOAT SCENE. And yeah. Can't wait for next season.

Also, maybe I'm weird, but I find it less creepy that the romance is going on between teenagers as opposed to the kids in The Last Airbender.
