Seems like there's a sudden influx of users acting like idiots these days. Bluexxxdude, unless you stop making inflammatory comments, you will receive a ban for abuse, just like Nighter almost got. This shouldn't be much of a problem to you since it's just common sense to not abuse other players, correct?

To everyone else getting offended by these people, do yourself a favor and:

1. Screenshot the offender's chatlog
2. Ignore/kick person, they love attention. The less offended you are, the better.

Small Update: The myles777 account has had no changes. I suppose it takes time. No form of abuse seems to have occured through it, which is GOOD.

Ok I didn't know that, there isn't any TOS, so please tell me the rules. Because some sites you can curse and I don't know if I can't on this site. I would expect more of this website, at least have a TOS. btw how to screenshot for mac os x labtop

Where is those rules or ToS? So you can ban people for just saying something bad to someone or flame them? What a lame reason. Add the rules or ToS so people can be banned for a reason. It's same with shared accounts. I can't find anything about flaming people is going to be banned. Or give me the page to the ToS or rules.

Same here. No rules/ToS. I should be able to do whatever I want in EE without been banned.
Looks like rpgmaster is creating his own rules I guess.

And one more thing. Why ban the user and not strip their chat? It was there for one reason.

I do agree that a ToS need to be instated as soon as possible. Until then, I am simply operating on common sense stating that flaming and abusing other players is not ok. I can't think of any reason that's less lame than that, but each to his own, I guess.

I've actually asked Chris for the ability to strip accounts of chat instead of having to resort to outright banning accounts, but as usual, it's taking forever to show up.

So simply because there aren't any written rules, you feel that it's completely okay to abuse other players as you please? Honestly, why would you ever feel the need to do any of that and not feel that it's out of line? Treat others the way you want to be treated, I say.

While I do realize that there isn't a true ToS in place at the moment, I feel that I am currently acting in the best interest of the community by handling cases that I feel could be damaging to player morale by making the best of what few tools I have at my disposal. I do not wish to antagonize you or ban you for any reason, I'm just genuinely curious why you seem to believe that it's okay to do whatever you want to other people simply because there's no rule book to tell you otherwise as opposed to just appealing to common sense.

Easier said than done, considering that I don't even have the ability to unban, much less set a timer for said bans. I'm still working with my hands tied behind my back.

I don't have evidence of him being "inappropriate" but i do know he's kinda mean with people around.

Anyways i'm kinda here because i have someone that should be banned. His name is securityforces.

This is what he does. He stalks us, he follows us around the level. he called people stupid/retarted. Stuff like that and its really annoying me.

Ok i admit i was a little mean to, but there's no way talking to this guy. Hope you can do something about him. :/

Rules or no rules you should always use common sense. There is never any reason for verbal abuse whatever the issue may be. There is a reason certain words are censored in chat.

Anyway hope that TOS thing does show up someday.

That doesn't make any sense. If you meant to say chat, then it's perfectly fair to strip peoples accounts of chat is said chat is being abused. If you cannot handle the freedom of being able to express yourself then you should not be given that freedom.

Like you should be able to ban there account from chat for a amount of hours days months or even YEARS.

If someone abuses their account once they will probably abuse it again. The rules should be:

1 Rule break = 1 week ban
2 Rule break = Perma-ban

because if you can't get your act together after abusing your account twice you obviously are not mature enough to play this game.

Nighter cannot be banned in game without proper evidence. Trapping people and trolling is not against the rules. So unless Nigher verbally abuses someone and someone takes a screen-shot he is technically innocent.

Energy was used to get 1 small world and is partially through getting another.

Spinza and basically everyone from the CB crew have been harassing me for a few months now. It really wasn't an issue before, but, I mean, as long as rules against harassment are being discussed, I think some of these guys could be worthy candidates, especially because they threaten to "report" me all the time because they think I'm superman2 or something.

I remember I was playing Stubbys Moderator Land once and Spinza said a few choice words, but I never got around to reporting it and now I don't have the picture because I cleaned off my desktop yesterday. But all he seems to do is swear at people for no reason.
