And what he said is right. Yours goes now First-Second-Fourth-Sixth.
It should not be like that, if someone has equal votes they are on the same place, and if one has 1 vote lower it's one seat lower. Why adding another seat between there? It doesn't make sense.

That is actually fairly standard scoring methodology.   If there is a tie for second, the next person will be 4th.   Thats how its always done.
