New Super Mario Bros. U

Earlier this year, Nintendo announced that there will be a new Mario adventure coming soon! Titled as: New Super Mario Bros. U for the new Wii U console.

Fun, new, and cool power-ups are included! You can also play as a Mii character, as I believe.

New Baby Yoshi is included in the game!

I had hours of endless fun in the first one, and I can't wait for the release of this one! What are your takes on this new video game? I sure hope it doesn't disappoint me.

I didn't watch any whole E3 apresentation this year, only highlights, for me Wii U is going with full power, lots of players will migrate from Microsoft and Sony to Nintendo. I personally prefer Nintendo, but it made a mistake in some parts with the Wii, now their new console will certainly rock, I'm waiting for it. New Super Mario Bros U is one of the greatest revelations to the public, and having the same structure of the classics and Super Mario's first full HD game, will be one of the greatests games for the Wii U. I hope i get this game soon.

meh. i just want a real 3rd paper mario game and another super mario sunshine; not one that's really different, but just has new levels and features like super mario galaxy 2 was to the first one. the new super mario bros games really aren't that interesting to me. i'd say the best of the normal side scrolling mario games is super mario world. (actually it's yoshi's island, but i don't really count that with the others.)

I don't like it.

It looks too much like New Super Mario Bros Wii and the design seems kind of odd.

It might be because I enjoy the older Mario games more (1991-2002), but I'm sure kids with generious parents will really enjoy this game.

I like how you think, you're like one of my best friends, he's all retro. I do enjoy old games, especially from N64 and the PSOne.

I recommend finding, and getting an old sega genesis, or a Nintendo 64.   You'd be amazed at how much can be done with those kind of graphics.   Its all about the amount of fun you have, look at the old sonic games, gameplay is long, and truly requires skill.

Okay, so it's that people did well with what we would call bad graphics. Okay. I personally like old PC games, I grew up with dos, and the Lemmings series. (a dos emulator actually) You really can do a lot with a few colors, and a lot of levels.

My previous post is badly thought out, and in fact, rather dumb. I DO like retro.

I mean to say, what's so bad about the Wii? Why is the paper mario game on the Wii awful? That kind of thing.

Retro is great! And personally, I didn't like the Super Paper Mario Wii game. It doesn't give enough hints to help you. Like the rubies part, I worked off about 20,000 gems before I realized I could use the ones that were hidden. I got really annoyed at that point, and I got stuck at the part where the butterfly was kidnapped.

So it was just to challenging for me, but I guess I didn't use common sense. I mean, what game would make you jump 1,000,000 times for rubies? I guess I should think more.

I thought a lot of retro games were good because they were hard. A different kind of hard, I guess.

I didn't have that many problems figuring it out, I had fun.

Super Mario 64 is one of those Nintendo hard games. It was fun!
