Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Whats up with Bronies?

To all of you out there that are bronies, I have a question. Why? What exactly is the reason that you enjoy that show so much? I don't think I understand why you like MLP, is it because of the meaning in their show, or to relive your childhood or something?

Please discuss.

Here is my position on the matter, it is exactly the same as the people in this video:

Well, the stories within it are interesting, it has good voice acting and the animation and the art is wonderful.

The essence of it all is enjoyable regardless of age.
By age, I'm assuming you mean maturity,

In which of that, I could agree that it is slightly immature to enjoy a show that depicts ponies,
but nevertheless, people enjoy it despite what others' think.

It's fine, it isn't doing harm, it's rational, deal with it.

I understand that, I'm not hating on bronies, I just think it's kind of stupid. But that's just my opinion and I see why you like it.

Re: Whats up with Bronies?

I find bronies really annoying. Sure it's fine you watch and enjoy the show, but bronies are like the goddamn Jehova's witnesses of the internet and rub that crap in your face all the time. I absolutely love Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, South Park, Archer, etc etc but I'm not gonna put that stuff in my sig or make threads about it constantly.

And yes, honestly, it's kind of sad to see adults act like complete kids like that. And yes, I've seen a few episodes, it's quite ok, just the fans annoy me. Let alone those who express their sexual fantasies with the ponies, or even attempt lucid dreaming so they can 'live' with the ponies and play with them and become their friends. I can't find the website anymore, but some people tried self-hypnotizing and meditating to see the imaginary pony friend all the time. THAT is all just sad and why bronies annoy me: they're insane.

Your words perfectly express my thoughts.

Re: Whats up with Bronies?

I've only watched about 5 episodes of My Little Pony, (the first three and 2 random ones on TV) but I like it. I thought they could have had a lot of character developement from the beginning and to the point where they're all like, 'THE POWER OF FRIIIIIIENDSHIPPPPP'
I was like,'What the hell, you haven't even known each other that long! You're practically aquantances! They could have stretched out the first three episodes into like a whole goddamn season! Think of the character developement!'

But then I realised that children's shows are the type where you don't need to see the whole entire show to get what's going on. You can just start watching anywhere and you can follow what's happening, so I'm not complaining.

Anyway, I like MLP because it's not... well, it's not just for the 3-12yo female group. It's written so males and adults (and as we all know, adult males) alike can enjoy it too. The writing's good. The animation is good. It's just good.

Although, there's a line between being a fan and being a bit too obsessed. Fine line, but it exists and also tends to vary per fandom.

Re: Whats up with Bronies?

For the duration of most of Season 2 I was into the show, (I wouldn't do any stuff like fanart or crazy things like in Nou's post) but shortly after the episode before the season finale I lost interest and never watched any pony stuff since. I liked the show because it was a neat show with good art/animation and stories, and stopped mainly because of getting sick of the fandom.

I wuv le ponys x3. Yet I'm not a fantard of MLP, I don't care that people hate it. Just I don't like the people that practically drop an ACME © anvil on them for not liking FIM.

Re: Whats up with Bronies?

I really enjoy the show because of the quality of the work and the fact that it's something I can watch without having to worry about watching some grimdark death- and cursing-filled show that, frankly, I won't enjoy. That's just not my kind of thing. Shows on Cartoon Network and the Disney channel are my kind of thing, and we all know that those channels have been going to crap pretty fast recently. MLP is really enjoyable I guess because of how taboo it is (or was/should be) for adult men (and teenage men/boys, I suppose) to be watching it. I don't enjoy it simple for that fact, but it's also just an all-around enjoyable show and is one of the ones that's actually done well. Its fandom can get pretty annoying but the only times I've run into actual insane people is on /mlp/.

It's actually pretty funny to read how pathetic their stories are. They have the storytelling skills of a first-grader.

>See Dashie in kitchen
"[Text that's supposed to be sexual]"
>Give Dashie a huge hug
>THEN WE GET MARRIED AND MAKE BABBY
