Even if Meredith was shared it would technically be impossible for someone else to change the password. Because the account, is linked to Merediths e-mail and so in order for the password to be changed Meredith would have to log into her email and change it herself. Also if it's only 2 people it's not really an issue, unless one of it's users begins to mass share it.
