Because the question actually refers to the sentence which asks how many fs there are, which only has 1 f. The sentence with 6 Fs in it is irrelevant because of the way the question was asked.

Definition of "this" from dictionary.com:

"what is about to follow"

My 8 volume Oxford dictionary gives this same definition, albeit in a longer wording.

Nubs, you're all wrong.

The correct answer is 0, as "Ready?" has no 'F's in it.
