Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: The Olympics

Wat.

This is why China is not a fair opponent. I'm sure they take steroids too and take laxatives before the test. then it comes out of their system.

Re: The Olympics

It's weird how the US are always one of the favourites at women's football/soccer, but they're nublanders at men's one.
Same goes for Sweden, and Brazil is kind of the contrary.

Re: The Olympics

Its not fair at all. USA and China's ect countries are much bigger and have much more people that are taleneted and train for the sports. Where as for smaller places, less people can train for the sport and have less chance.

My country has about the same geographic size as the US, 200 million habitants, and yet it is lower in the ranking than way smaller (and with less people) countries like Czech Republic, Poland, Denmark, Cuba (!) and such.

And it isn't because we are a underdeveloped country, because if just a small bit of the money the "'"'"politicians"'"'" take away from the masses and use for their personal needs was donated for the sports, we'd be better than China.

tl;dr You can be better than China, just have enough supporting in your athletes.

EDIT: This post was very badly-written... I have horrible English skills :/

Re: The Olympics

Okay, I'll be the one to make the bump.

Did you guys see the closing ceremony? It taught me a very important lesson: British people CANNOT sing. They sound incredibly slow.

Also, US #1! Take that, everyone who thinks we're a bunch of obese dead weights! That's only MOST of our country!

Re: The Olympics

It's hard to tell which countries are and aren't taking steroids these days when you look at some professional sports such as baseball where literally 90% of the players take them.

Where did you think 1 Direction came from?

Both The Who and Muse were there.   If you check the best selling list on Wikipedia, you'll find that 4 of the top 8 are from the UK, while only 3 are from the US.

Adjust for population.

Re: The Olympics

I could be a jerk and say wikipedia is unreliable, but I won't.
Also, the Olympics are boring.

First day: didn't care
second day: watched a bit
third day: watched a bit less
fifth day: watched a bit less but a bit more then a bit less
7-9th day: watched a bit more then a bit less then a bit more then a bit less

didn't watch the closing cerimonies

Exactly! That's a perfect example! Thanks.

Um, cool. First, joke. Second, Great Britain, not UK.
