Hunting is a sport. It's not debatable and it is a sport, so it doesn't even belong in the topic.

Shooting animals that didn't do anything to you =/= sport.

It's not revenge. I do it to eat. Without those deer gleefully leaping in front of my bullet I wouldn't have half the delicious, lean meat I eat today.

Thank you for your donation, deer (and other assorted animals). In honor of you, your death will be considered a sport for time and all eternity. A SPORT IN HONOR OF OUR MEALS. And in honor of the sport we will feast.

Hunting is no different from raising animals to kill them except the hunted ones live their lives in the wild and they are free and much more tasty and less fatty than animals raised.

Orton, hunting is only wrong when it's against animals that are endangered/under threat , and if its only done for reckless, evil fun.

If it's no different from raising animals to slaughter, then aren't farmers athletes?

Just because you eat what you kill doesn't change the sportality of it.   Yes, I just made up a word.

I'm just wondering: Is skiing a sport? 'cause xputnameherex said that sports need at least 2 people to play, and I thought skiing could be done with one person.

I guess nobody saw this...

As for the golf argument, I said right when I entered it that it was tough, but not the hardest. I am NOT on the "Hardest" Side.

Ultimate Frisbee

It was actually made into a league in the US about two months ago.

What is your say on this?

First of all it's been around for like two years, at least (my school has had a team for two years. Secondly, it's called "Ultimate" not "Ultimate Frisbee" which is the name of the company of the Frisbee that is used.

it's been around since at least the 70's.

Orrin, it's not that we can't "differentiate" between your two lists, it's that most of your "opinions" are annoyingly naive. Have you ever tried swimming sets of 500's while being timed   for three hours every night?   If you haven't, then how can you say it's a debatable sport? Same with most of the stuff on there, I'm not sure what sports you do, but you obviously have never done some of them, because if you had, you would be as defensive as me :3

As for the golf thing, I would say it is definitely not the hardest sport. Even though they are timed apparently. Golf is more of a skill sport IMO, not that I've ever played. Now, if I tried to play golf, I would fail miserably .

I personally think gymnastics is the hardest sport. My sister does it, and holy ****, their warm up is all the ground workouts you can think of combined, and she's ten

I never said swimming wasn't a sport, it's only on the list because people make arguments against it.   And my eight-year-old sister does gymnastics, and it's gotta be one of the hardest sports.

Just because a sport is in the debatable list, doesn't mean I don't consider it a sport.

I'd like to know the reasoning behind competitive gaming not being a sport, which I consider as videogames offline and offline ex. a fighting game tournament.
It requires physical exertion, quick thinking and reaction time, and years of practice.
