Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I just wanted to hear what people thought of using nuclear energy to power homes and daily appliances or equipment.
Normal nuclear reactors are bad, but this one is good but isn't used due to bad publicity because of the other mean reactors.

Nuclear energy is evil. The end
Nuclear energy is evil. The end
Except thorium energy.
Nuclear Energy is the best idea that people have come up with, being that it is very efficient.
I can't fault it.
Nuclear warfare is quite far off nuclear power.
Thank you eleizibeth ^

Most nuclear power produces waste that can remain radioactive for thousands, and some even millions of years. They have to keep it all in containment for so long. There's probably a good chance of it reaching the environment sometime.

Meh, I'll be dead by then.

People from the past think of the worlds resources like that and polluted and ruined much of the world for us today. Its not exactly the same, but I mean they left us unsolvable problems and that's what we're doing to our descendants, though at a much higher rate.
Also, I'm watching the video now and reading stuff about thorium, I didn't have the time to do it before.
If we're going to move to extremities in terms of power, go green. Nuclear and green power both have their benefits, but in the end the latter is the most beneficial.
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

I think it is a generally good thing, if they don't use one of those elements that take thousands of years to decay. with some easier to work with elements, nuclear power is probably the best source of energy we humans have.
The best source of energy we could ever have is fusion power, but that isn't ready yet.
Only the cold kind :3

This is surely the greatest reasoning I have ever seen.

Squad's intuition at work.

Blast the waste into space.
Anyways, I'd prefer stuff like SBSP or... I don't know.

All I can say on nuclear energy is that it is nuclear and energetic.
I have zero knowledge on anything nuclear, besides Chernobyl and Fukushima
This sums up my thoughts.
I don't really think that nuclear energy matters, since we aren't gonna lose fossil fuels any time soon
I am against use of fossil fuels because they are a non renewable resource, and they release CO2 into the atmosphere. The pollution is killing many amphibians, and generally just polluting the environment. Nuclear power that we have is not a lot better, so I would prefer the use of energy sources like wind or solar.

I have little to no knowledge of anything related to nuclear power, so my comments and opinions are better taken with a grain of salt.
From what I've heard, nuclear power is actually extremely stable and safe, but what causes the problems are lazy, inattentive people like Homer Simpson and people who can't decide where the hell to stick their nuclear waste.
So I think it's a great thing, seeing as (again, to the best of my knowledge) it can potentially produce the most energy of anything we have now and most "green" energy concepts that everyone seems to be suggesting haven't even been tested yet.
So, yeah.
I hate tall signatures.

The solar and wind energy sources I suggested have been used for quite a while. Drawbacks are that windmills break easily, and solar panels are expensive(they also break easily too, I'm pretty sure) however, both disadvantages will likely improve as they are more commonly used. I don't think they produce near as much energy as nuclear power, but every home having solar panels should eliminate the need for other soures of energy, I suppose you may also need Qing generators for each house too.
...Green power's disadvantages are that in certain areas or times they are almost useless. They don't break easily, it's just that some areas don't gain much from them. Green power can also be very easy to fix and build.
