Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Homework? I guess your right, but I just need a book to read... They all seem to boring.
there's some really good classic books i know, just i don't want to accidentally give something with torture in it to a 10 year old. so yeah, please state your age.

I am 13. And in the highest class. Also, small books with a lot of pictures that will impress a top english class teacher please.
I'm the King of the Castle is a really good and dark book, there is also Lord of the flies is quiet good, Lord Arther Savile's crime, Great expectations, Wuthering Heights are all good books I've read in the last year.
Edit: *Reads post above* "small books with lots of picture", are you like one of the people in my class that are 15 and have never read through a full book?
I hate my generation.

"Small books and a lot of pictures."

(I like how whenever the forums come back up, it's just so casual, as if it never went down.)
I think he was being sarcastic.
Anyway! I'm going to recommend my favorite classic book.
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen is a romance dealing with issues regarding class, morality, education, marriage and other things. Published in 1813 and some of the language is a bit hard to read, but it's good.
And I'm not going to bother telling you much about these others:
1984 by George Orwell, deals with fascism and blind belief
Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson sucks and I never finished reading it
Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. "Please sir, can I have some more?"
anything by Mark Twain

@Saintcool: I have read the first 4 Harry Potter books. But, I'll be honest, thats it.
@Zoey: Thanks, I'll look them up, aswell as SC's.
a clockwork orange by anthony burgess is a really good classic, but it has rape, torture and murder which is prooobably inappropriate for a 13 year old. if you want a book that's kinda disturbing, that one is it. read at your own risk.
