Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: Scale of the Universe

It's also on newgrounds.
I love it, it's amazing how miniscule we really are, or how small a lot of things are, compared to us. We're tiny, and giant at the same time...
edit: Also, spore BG music.

This is really cool //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile

It's crazy how small we are in the universe. You can't even see our galaxy when you look at the entire universe.

Really? Thinking about it makes my brain hurt.
And it's funny, because we're pretty significant when you think about our potential, but in the end, it doesn't matter. Nothing matters in the grand scheme of things, you know? Out there is just a bunch of dust that looks really nice. Space doesn't care about the trivial things humans worry about. It's unimportant. We're nothing to space, just how a lot of things are unimportant to space.
It's somewhat reassuring, knowing that no matter what you do, it doesn't matter at all. It's also a bit sad...

It's not that supprising, however, it doesn't make me see the Earth as any more important or any less important. Let's just be glad for the existance of the neutron, without that we'd only have hydrogen.

Absolutely incredible.

To think we're so small in the universe boggles my mind, the mysteries out there that are waiting for somebody to discover them is vast.

At the moment it's expanding, but it's slowing down. Eventually it'll stop. Some people think that it will come back in and destroy everything.

What's so scary is the Great Attractor, it's pulling us closer, as a galaxy! What to do when it we're so close to it, is it a black hole?

Uranus
51,000 kilometers
5.1 x 10^7 meters
A lot of people like to think ?Uranus? sounds like ?your anus?. Well, it doesn?t necessarily have to be that way. Uranus can be pronounced like ?Yer-uh-ness? or ?She-venth-pla-net?.

My favorite part of the game EZUli.png!
