New Youtube

I just wanted to make a quick thread about my opinion on the changes on youtube:
I love how it looks so much more like the old Youtube, like how avatars are once again shown by the comments. I hope that the channels will sometime be more like the old ones.

This thread can also be used for discussing these changes.

I was wondering what you were talking about but I see it now. I think it's a tad bit too wide and a bit too white, but I suppose I can live with this. Just as long as I can view only the uploads by my subscriptions and also recommendations.
Oh no but recommendations in the main part. That makes me sad.
Woah wait the video part changed too.
It's okay. I prefer a bit more dark, but this is okay.
edit: just saying the feedback thing is pretty goddamn awesome.

The ads on the left side of the screen?
I do not really like this new youtube site that they made, but it is at least still okay, and I guess the good thing is that it loads pretty damn fast. But I like the old one better.

It's crowded, it has way too much contrast, and generally looks ugly.

Why can't they make popular websites stylish? Facebook and Youtube are too serious and dry. At least Twitter and Skype are a little cheery.

Too white, too much blank space, I don't wanna stare at people's avatars, I don't wanna have to press 3 buttons to go to my subscriptions, I don't wanna stare at people's avatars, why is the loading bar transparent, the description area is ugly, that thing ont he left side is...?, BLAH THIS SUCKS

I don't like it. At leats because aligned to left. My screen resolution is quite big and it's a bit annoying.

I'd hate to say it but everyone needs to stop complaining. You're getting angry over a free (and quite awesome) website's aesthetics that has barely changed any features. It's like Facebook changes.

I'd link you to the A Dose of Buckley - Facebook Changes video but it's too inappropriate.

That layout is overall very annoying, but I like how you can see other users' avatars without going to their profile.

This new design has been reappearing and disappearing for me for weeks. It looks ugly, I could do a better job.

The profile changes are bull :O , but the layout of the videos I don't mind too much.

The home page is too clunky and confusing however.

It's not my favorite layout, but I like this one better than before, to be honest. It seems nice and tightey enough.

Don't bother if you don't like this one, it probably is just going to change again in a month or two.

I kinda prefer the old one, but maybe it's because I'm more used to the layout. Also, it's really white, I know less is more but it I think it needs a splash of colour here and there.

It's the best it's been in a while, in my opinion. I just really hate that they removed the ability to browse people's channels while watching a video; completely ruins the whole update, I think.

it is quite nice though I think the content should be centered, comments of blank space is only because the design is white, the space is actually fine imo
I quite dislike that it takes you to recommended stuff instead of subscriptions on the home page and has no option to change this, if they want to keep the suggestions by defualt, they need to stop suggesting videos I've already watched

I USED THAT SOOO MUCH.
Now you have to click on the person's channel, then click on "Browse videos".

Also, they removed the little sign next to the subscribe button, so you can't put something like "Press this button! ->".
And yeah, it kinda annoys me how the right side is just white.
And I don't like how your profile image shows up next to your comment, it kinda makes people with the default image look stupid. :/
