Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: Linux?

I tend to run any operating systems other than Windows 7 using virtual machines, so keep that in mind when I am listing off all of the ones I have used this week.

Ubuntu 11.04 (11.10 used to have issues, never upgraded)
Ubuntu 12.10 (Installed yesterday, VirtualBox has wonderful issues with 3D) - Used primarily to torrent linux disks
Fedora 16
CentOS 6.3 - Dedicated web server
OpenSUSE 12.2 - Testing used for work

And then I have a separate server with OpenSUSE on it (not recommended) that is used for hosting a few websites.

Would you recommend Backtrack 5 to anyone?

Why not? I run a long-time support version of Ubuntu on my home server, and I don't really plan to change, but I'd still be interested to hear why OpenSUSE might be a bad idea.

Compared to other distros, such as CentOS and Ubuntu Server, OpenSUSE does not have a lot of support in it's package repository.   What I've found is that while it contains many popular packages, it does not have updated versions of them and generally requires you to compile them from source.   There also isn't a lot of information out there for running OpenSUSE headless while managing it (from what I've seen).

It also isn't really meant to be used in an enterprise situation as a server (that's where my experience is from), they actually have SLES to handle that.
