Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: Roadtrips

I'm usually not on road-trips during the holidays, but me and my family take the most during the summer. The fathest road-trip I've ever been on was from my sweet hometown (for those who don't know where I live already, I live in Chicago) to Gardiner, Montana to visit Yellowstone National Park with some of my other family, who drove from California where they live.
After we left Gardiner (beautiful place), we then all drove to South Dakota to visit Mt. Rushmore and Wall Drug. Then we went back to Chicago while my other family went back to California.

Too confused? Handy-dandy map:

Blue equals way to, red equals way back, black dot equals rest stop

And now everyone knows my entire summer vacation of 2010.

Re: Roadtrips

I've only had one road trip as far as I can remember.

It was from Roy UT to St. Louis MO, a 1,443 mile drive, and took 22 hours, but the campsite was worth it.

Re: Roadtrips

For sake of privacy I'm just going to put points in the middle of the state:

I'm probably missing on a couple trips from TN to NH, but you get the general idea. I've been to Zoidy's and Bass5098's houses. Nice places. (not really of course, but I have driven through their town)

Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Re: Roadtrips

I did a loop with my dad and my brother.   Drove from California, which is where I live, to Arizona then to New Mexico followed by Colorado and Utah.   Finally went to Las Vegas for our final day and then back home.   The whole trip was about 10 days maybe.   I usually pass the time by listening to music or sleeping if I'm not the one driving.   When I am driving, time usually goes by fast since I am concentrated on the road and the scenery around me, even if it   was mostly desert.   This summer my family and I are going to drive to Seattle, stay a few nights, and then go to Vancouver for a week.   We'll have to drive home from that also unless we get a rental car that we can pick up in Southern California and leave in Canada.

Edit: I've also done a road trip that basically traveled down the Mississippi river by car.   We stopped at a bunch of important historical sites.   Truly amazing to see things that I read in my history book last year.   We flew into some state that I can't remember, drove a bunch (trip was 10 days), and ended up in another state.   Luckily we didn't have to drive back to the first state.   We just flew home from the last state we ended up in.
