Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

NOTE: This is for those who like rap and/or hip-hop. If you disagree, make a Rap Sux topic or something.
So, who is (are) your favorite rapper(s)? Mine are MF DOOM, Childish Gambino (aka Donald Glover from Community and his own Comedy Central special), old Jay-Z, mostly old and some new Eminem, Dilated Peoples (especially Evidence), De La Soul, Wu-Tang Clan (especially Ghostface and RZA), 2Pac, and probably others I can't remember because it's three in the morning.

Rap and Hip-Hop should NOT be connected with a slash. They are very different things.
Anyways, I like the old style of rapping. Nowadays, anyone who can talk fast and be autotuned are considered rappers.

This may come as a shock, but they mean the same thing. I only split them up because people use them for different forms of the same genre (like you!).

They are absolutely not the same thing. Google it. Research it. Some people don't even count hip-hop as music.

Eminem, B.o.B, Flo Rida and Professor Green.

Either way, they both involve rapping.
I suppose.

Occasionally I will listen to Eminem, but I cannot manage to actually get into the genres much.

This. All of it.
Hip Hop and Rap are completely different and shouldn't be treated this way. It's not fair to Hip Hop.
Also, is it okay to discuss Hoot Hop here, as well?

But I do enjoy Linkin Park's rapper, even though I don't know his name.

Pretty much this. Lose Yourself is such a great song.

Music is an art form whose medium is sound and silence. Whether something is or isn't music is not an opinion.
The rapper from Linkin Park is Mike Shinoda.

Rap is music, as a genre it's used in songs. It's more than a style of saying words.
I didn't mean to start a rant here. Just voicing my opinion.
Fort Minor's my favourite.
OFF TOPIC: I share my birthday with Eminem xD.

So isn't it just a style of saying words and (sometimes) rhyming to background music and a beat?
