Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Out of the ones I've played..
Sonic happens to be my favorite and least favorite at the same time. Loved the Genesis games. New games are.. dammit Sega, why'd you have to do this.
Out of the top of my head, the first thing that comes to my mind is Mario bros, the game is just so darn repetitive that you know the gameplay, you know the storyline(if there is one) and you know the boss's.

I don't think it's fair to judge a game based off of its series. You could play your first mario game and have a lot of fun, and play 5 more and if they still feel the same, that doesn't make the first one terrible. Thew newer games are repetitive, but aren't most game series that way now? Shooting games with different guns, or sport games with.. nothing new.

Azure there you go again putting words in peoples mouth, I never said Mario was terrible, I never said that shooter games are not repetitive, I said the Mario Bros series is repetitive, that means stuff like New super Mario bros (DS, 2, WII, U), not Galaxy, not Kart, Bros. The Mario Bros games you can guess what is going to happen every step of the way.
Anything involved with guns/shooting I am no fan.
Pokemon ftw

Refer to my first psot here again.
Those games can be fun, but it becomes the same when you play the other ones.

Idk, Zombie and shooter games are boring in my eyes, but there are a few good ones like Dead space and Walking dead.
I'm kinda following up on what AzurePudding said, except with a different character, Crash Bandicoot. This game is my favorite and least favorite at the same time as well. I used to love play the old Playstation games, but over time they really screwed him up. There were four original games:
Crash Bandicoot
Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back
Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped
CTR: Crash Team Racing
But then, the company known as Naughty Dog sold what I believe to be their best creation to other companies. This franchise was given to a company known as Vivendi. They changed it up a bit, which I didn't enjoy.
Crash Twinsanity:
Crash Nitro Kart:
The company that currently owns Crash Bandicoot is known as Activision. This eventually lead to a serious screw up, and lead me to hate Crash Bandicoot.
Crash of the Titans:
Crash Mind Over Mutant:
This breaks my heart to see how this franchise is now ruined.
How could this:
Go to this?:
Sorry if I overdid this, I just needed to express myself. If I kinda ruined this topic with this post, I'm sorry. I just wanted people to know how I felt, but not a lot of people would care. Again, I apologize for if I overdid this.

Ugh, I hate Crash Bandicoot. Prime example of a desperate attempt to make something "rad" that kids will love. When I was a little kid I hated Sonic out of blind Nintendo devotion, but now I just hate the new games because they're terrible but think the old ones are pretty good.

Everything Jdizel said. My favorite generation of CB is the 1st (PS) and the 2nd (PS2) one. It all got screwed up in the 3rd (Radical) generation.
