Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I don't mean me to be sad, and I know this is total outright attention seeking, though, I feel people don't understand.
Many people know I attention seek, this is only because I'm depressed, the reason for being depressed is that I was born with clinical depression], it's a disorder, not a freaking emotion. At the moment I honestly feel like, I'm sure you can guess.. I know thousands of people suffer with it, as it's pretty darn common.
Instead of making this an attention seeking freaking topic, lest turn in into a discussion, about how crap my life is, haahahahaha. Just kidding..
I'm sure loads of people get depressed, so who here does, do you have depression, how do you cope ? Or better yet, do you know someone with it, and support them? Or even ask me questions on how I cope. Let's just discuss this..

I often get fed up, my life is pretty monotonous. Plus the fact that I haven't had a decent face to face conversation in a while, people would rather talk about stupid crap like gangnam style. Too many dull expressions are given when I talk about anything with intelligence. And College is incredibly boring.
When anyone has depression, I find that putting your mind on something that you look forward to, or just thinking something you enjoy can help. And if you don't have anything in the near future to look forward to, set new goals and rewards for yourself, having a good plan can really help with depression.
One last thing that I consider when I am depressed is that your depression/ crisis will not last too long, especially if you do what I mentioned above.
Hello,
Im not really that kinda person who does serious discussions so here are some funny images just to make this depression topic "less depressing"
This topic is 100% serious, there is no making it less depressing. Honestly, this post tells me that you didn't have anything to say here. Further actions like this will result in warnings.
ModE: Damnit Tako, zap your reports.

Stop posting images on serious topics, if you don't have anything to say don't post anything instead.
I don't have clinical depression, but I know what you mean anyway. I often feel sunk from issues and whatever. I just eat some chocolate and feel better (although that may not work for you)

Do not post irrelevant things; consider this your second warning for spam.
If you enjoy posting on this forum, I'd recommend stopping it. You're only given one chance here.
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Yep, I try to set me mind on them sort of things, but I usually fail, ha.

I wish it did work. ;P Even better excuse for more chocolate.

Sorry to hear that Echo, I find whenever I feel depressed that usually a good cry helps, because it allows you to release your emotions and continue on. Another thing you could try doing is thinking about happy times/things, sometimes it'll cheer you up.
I really don't know if anything here will help you. But at least I'm glad to try. Perhaps you could get some professional help if you haven't already. Although if you want, send me a pm and we can talk it out, I'd be happy to help you with whatever is on your mind

Echo do you have a school counselor that can help you with your depression? If you don't then you should ask your school that you need one, that's what I did and to be honest it really helps me a lot or if you don't go to school you can hire a therapist to help you out. Depression pills are another thing that can help you out, my brother is taking some and he seems better than he used to be. Now what is making you depressed, sleeping, work, socializing problems, or family problems whatever it is there is therapy for those problems and medications. Hope I helped a bit.
Life can be hard, but do the best you can.
I used to have a psychiatrist, but he discharged me, because I was better than I used to be, I honestly can't be bothered to go back.

Well, that's good to hear, but what is causing your depression?

Not much, it runs in our genes. I was born with depression, as I said in the OP.
Exercise is a good way. Take a 15- to 30-minute brisk walk every day ? or dance, jog, or bike if you prefer. People who are depressed may not feel much like being active. But make yourself do it anyway. Exercise actually helps me when i'm down and my brother that has a worse depression. since you can focus yourself on working out you will concentrate on being a stronger person so it will keep your mind on exercising only.
Eating good it's another way. Have you been eating too much or not much? if that's the case then try to eat right, my older brother is fighting depression and he makes his own juices and eats really healthy. This will help a lot since it's also making you concentrate on how healthy and strong you will look later on.
Please try these iv'e done them and my brother also. I forgot something else if you don't want to work out in a gym work out at home, me and my brother have done that. We done push ups, dips with chairs, pull ups in our basketball court, lifting weights if you don't have some use something else. We done more advanced things but you will need to look them up if I tell you so you could know what i'm meaning.

I know it runs in your genes, but there has to be something that triggers it/makes it worse, correct?

I don't have derpession, but I might know a cure. Think of the true awesomeness and memories you(?) had with Kirby Air Ride, then play it.
fixed.
actually, what you should do is just go do something you're really good at and just think to yourself how great you are at it. it might be concieted (even though you're saying it to yourself), but it's good for your mental health in the short term.

I have no idea what triggers it. It is really hard to describe, I do not think there a word for the feeling, but I guess that is one of the reason why people without depression do not understand it, mainly because we don't.
I only feel depressed when I feel lovesick. Which has been for over 2 years now. Woooo

Kirby Super Star Ultra is what caused me to become a fan, and I haven't played Kirby Air Ride yet.
It's based on opinions.
YOUR ARGUMENT IS INVALID x2.

Well, seeing as that you did the exact same thing as me... (play Air Ride as soon as possible, it is amazing).
Anyways, are you still depressed, Zoey? Your speech from a month ago was rather disturbing.

Oh right! I see you care more about the commenter than the OPoster

I thought this was a discussion about depression in general, not just your depression only.
