Help with social life?

I need help, I'm not sure what to do about this.

I'm not getting bullied, no. Nothing like that. It's nothing bad.

Actually it's something good.

Yet I don't like it.

I'm feeling that people show that they like me, but they don't treat me as their friend. They treat me differently.

I get a lot of attention, good attention, but I don't think I like it. I feel like people don't treat me as a person with feelings, they just give me attention for some reason. They make it seem like everyone likes me, but they're really just putting me in the centre of attention.

When I talk to my friends and we have a conversation, it doesn't feel the same when someone else who I wouldn't consider a friend talks to me in a friendly way.

Basically, I feel like anyone I know who isn't my friend, treats me like an object.

But I don't want everyone to just become my friend. I want them to go away, and stop giving so much of this attention. I don't need it. I'm happy with just talking with my friends.

I'm not quite sure how I can help, as I try to be hostile and sullen wherever I go but people still want to talk to me.

Telling them to go away wouldn't help much, have you tried just becoming their friend? Asking them if they want to be friends?

That would be kind of awkward because when they talk to me and give me attention it's more of a joke than a friendly conversation.

Were you being ignored before?   Did something big happen before this?   If so, my guess is someone told everyone to be nice to you.   Happened to a kid that no one liked in middle school, but then we went back to tormenting him.

Actually I only just started secondary school, so nothing happened. It may have something to do with the fact that I'm the only one that is from my primary school, so no one knew much about me when I first came.

It is lowering a bit now though.

Secondary school social life is not only boring, it is full of the most stupid people on this planet. It would be best if you stopped caring and took it much less seriously, you didn't go to school to talk.
