Hm. That makes perfect sense.

My brother also refuses to go on the third floor. I went up there once, opened a door, and Boom! There was a mannequin staring right at me (Yeah, it was F***ing creepy). So this incident makes the second thing that I thought was strange in this house. So far.

We now have that mannequin at the front door. We dress it up for any type of gathering or party we might have. Including Halloween, when it is very fun to creep kids out with.

Haha, Very interesting. I used to live in a creepy house, I was very young so I barley remember, though.

The 2 on top of eachother on the bottom of the little brown desk thing are old dinosaurs that barely work.

The gray laptop's backlight went out so the screen is almost completely un-seeable. The black laptop on the desk is one I used until I upgraded to the bigger on on the glass desk.

I change my furniture every so often, so why not. Basically the only thing that stayed the same was the Mount Rushmore carving, pencil holder and laptop.

In the shelf, we have... (Top to visible bottom) Bookends, decks of cards, paper. More paper, reference books, recipe book(s?), notebooks. Folders, pens, binders, a camera, old 'camcorder' to VHS tapes... colored paper. Moar binders. More notebooks.

On the top of the hutch... important papers, empty tins, more 'camcorder' to VHS tapes, that speaker that I didn't bother to plug in since it doesn't work... more important papers, a cup of pens, a cup of pencils, more photos, a cup of pencils, an empty box, a hard drive, a near-empty stack of CD-R.

Middle-ish area of the hutch... CD-ROM, folders of more important papers, more CD-ROM, and a ton of floppy disks that no one uses.

On the hutch desk part. Unabridged dictionary, misc paper, Kodak software/USB cord, print shop software (terribly out of date), headphones, more misc paper, music, magazines, books, stapler, kleenex, comp monitor, rubiks cube, microphone, Wifi Router, printer, another Hard drive box.

Then, on the bottom, a box of misc cords.
That about sums it all up.
