Significant Birth Years

Is anyone here born in a significant year?

It can be either a year where a significant event happened or just a significant number in itself.

I was born in 2000. Millennium; pretty rare.

I was born in 1998. According to Wikipedia it says Google, Inc. was founded, Microsoft released Windows 98 (Really? I thought it was from 1898 but I guess that's just me.), Voyager 1 overtakes Pioneer 10 as the most distant man-made object from the solar system, the Galaxy IV communications satellite failed, leaving 80?90% of the world's pagers without service, etc.

There's lots more but I don't care to list them all.
