Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Your ISP

Hey guys, we've just been getting new cable services in our small town with options barely up to 18mbps (which may seem greedy compared to yours I don't know) with cable and I was just interested what other people's internet was in other cities/countries. What's your speed? Do you like your internet speeds?

I live in a mediumish town (~300.000 inhabitants), but my house is farrr away from everything, so the signal is not very good :/
And the internet here is bad anyway, because the companies don't care about the costumers (they can give you 10% of the speed they are supposed to give if they want, and they always do that).

I'd like to see someone from either one of two Kansas Cities to tell us what Google Fiber is like. I want it so bad :c

I would, but "Fiber is not available in your area yet. We are currently focused on building our Fiber network in Kansas City, Kansas, and the central region of Kansas City, Missouri. We will bring Fiber to North and South Kansas City, Missouri, in the near future. Add your email address to be notified when pre-registration begins in your area."

I'm actually pretty satisfied about my connection here in windy city (although I sort of, kind of, don't actually live in Chicago, I live in a small town in the south-west suburbs).

My download speed dropped a ton within the past 4 months (around 9Mb/s), but it is still above what I am paying for.

Re: Your ISP

Why the hell do some people that live in small towns have better connection than me when I live in one of the major cities of New Zealand. I am hating my connection, when I have enough money, I am moving to Maryland.

We're supposed to be getting around 50 down and 10 up, so I guess it evens out.. sorta.

@tak4n: The less people on a line, the faster it is. If you share a line with just a couple of people, it's going to be faster than if a similar line is being shared by a thousand people.

@different55: So lucky! Enjoy your 1Gig down and up:

Edit: Found out how to speed it up a bit

Sometimes the Internet goes slow for random reasons, depending on the situation.
