Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Dishonored is a new game coming out soon. Here it is coming out on the 12th this month. I cant wait. It is so amazing I had to make a topic about it. Even if you think "A little kid likes this, so I'm gonna hate it." try it out anyway *cough*treejoe*cough*.
In this game you are an assassin with special powers. You are falsely accused of killing the queen and get put in jail. You escape from jail and take revenge on everyone. Most of the time, killing them. However, there are multiple ways for completing missions. Apparently you could even complete the game without killing anyone. But you can go for a very different approach and kill everyone. And you do not get one power. You get tons. With all these powers people can mix them and do amazing things. Some people get really creative with the game and do stuff which is absolutely brilliant.
Theres no better way for describing this than showing you video's.
Those are just a few of the video's they have of the game. Want more then search it on Youtube and be amazed. I cant believe how far we've come. The graphics are really nice and the idea's are really good. Your mind will be blown. Too bad I wont have enough money to buy it.

Looks cool.
I have one friend who is really excited about this game and then the rest of my friends are all like "lol no way man that game is gonna suck" and overall I have no idea what is going on. I might try it out.

I heard about it a while ago and I'd get it but it's about $60 dollars, so I dunno. It looks amazing though. Assassin's Creed (a game I was never allowed to play) + Steampunk = HELL YES.

late reply is late due to forum-downness.
But no, I was never allowed to play Assassin's Creed! Growing up, my brother was pretty bossy about the games I played and was sort of a control freak. It recently occurred to me that it was probably some sort of form of censorship, since I wasn't allowed to play Morrowind either.

Looks just like every other shoot em up, or in this case stab em up.
I know it's been a while since anyone's replied to this, but I finished dishonored (high chaos ending both of them) like five minutes ago and I am in awe.
It's seriously one of the best games I've ever played. The plot, the backstory, the graphics, the world, and my god the ending I was about to cry. It all hinged on that one moment. Woah.
I am emotionally invested in this game and I highly suggest you buy it. Woah.

Go on Youtube and search chain kills or creative kills. Some of the tricks people do are amazing.
I have found the two high chaos endings and low chaos. I'm also really close to completing it with 0 kills. I'm on mission 8. I've beat it with killing everyone possible (I think). One of the best games I have ever played, if not the best.

Your brother's not the boss of you, it's your life, not his. It's up to your parents.
Assassin's creed is an amazing game, try it sometime.
Assassin's Creed
Assassin's Creed 2
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Assassin's Creed: Revelations
Assassin's Creed 3
Play them in order, from top to bottom, you have to know the storyline.

I'LL JUST GRAVEDIG AND DOUBLE POST AND IT IS COMPLETELY LEGAL, TRUST ME, I KNOW THE RULES MORE THAN I KNOW CLAVERING BOULEVARD AND THAT SAYS A LOT BECAUSE I HAVE PLAYED EVERY MISSION IN DISHONORED REPEATEDLY ALMOST DAILY YES I AM A BIT OBSESSED HENCE WHY I'M UPDATING THIS TOPIC.
Anyway, let me tell you about the DLC.
We have Dunwall City Trials, where you do things that test your skills. Released in December. Don't care. news article
And also, recently announced, and I mean it's as recent as the new pope, that's how recent it is, is a DLC regarding Daud. If you don't know who he is, well, I'm not going to spoil it but he's pretty **** badass. The entire game is badass. The screenshots are badass.
It's called The Knife of Dunwall (although the rumored title was "The Other Side of the Coin" which has quite a nice ring to it as well) and will be released April 16th. It'll cost about 10 dollars.
Here's some press releases, but instead of my normal x's for links I'll use a very tiny outsider's mark I made just because I can:
And also some re-uploaded screenshots.
swoon.
WAIT, YOU THOUGHT THIS COULDN'T GET ANY BETTER?
HA
HAHAHA
wrong.
THERE'S DISHONORED MERCHANDISE.
YEP. THAT'S ALL I REALLY NEED TO SAY.
It is a good day in the small Dishonored fandom.
and now, if you don't mind, i'm going to continue my third complete runthrough, and in an odd twist of fate, I stopped playing right at the flooded district.

I thought I killed that ****, Daud. I don't even care about his story anyway. I want to know more about the torturer. He had an outsider shine and powers.
YEAH SO THE KNIFE OF DUNWALL WAS RELEASED TODAY. IT'S TEN DOLLARS.
AND I'VE PLAYED IT.
There's three missions, and it's all pretty good.
Here's a trailer for it:

and here's what I have to say about it, seeing as I've completed it on high chaos, spoilers ahoy:
it was good, like mindblowingly good because my thought process was '**** DAMNIT' for the past 20 minutes. that twist.
anyway, the next DLC is the Brigmore Witches, which continues Daud's story and the mysterious Delilah which is the big problem in the Knife of Dunwall.
