Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Making a joke about wishing death upon someone and then responding with 'jk'? THINK before you post. Granted, I believe you meant no harm, but it's such in bad taste here I would think you know better.

Let's pray that everyone recovers from the Boston Bombing, it's sad to see that there are people within our country who would do this.

Re: Bomb at the Boston Marathon

This just in:
105 people injured, 2 dead. One of the dead is an 8-year-old. Two bombs, both appeared to be in trash cans. Suspicious photos of a man putting backpacks in trash cans. Explosions approx. 12 seconds apart. Extra possible bomb has been taken apart and is being used for any possible information on how and who. (P.S. I am listening to the news on T.V. Thankfully I am not in Boston, on the other side of the U.S.

Re: Bomb at the Boston Marathon

I just saw the picture with the mans entire leg bone showing... that was something I never needed to see, but lets just say it puts the event so much more into perspective... I can't imagine how painful that would be, and why anyone would want to do this to people...

Yes, it's in america, but just because you hate this place doesn't mean it's no big deal when its citizens are killed. By saying how you hate America's selfishness in complaining only about their own problems, you in turn are being much more selfish, by acting as though the worst part of the bombing is you having to listen to America.

You need to go **** yourself. Also do yourself a favor and staple every single thing on your body that can let your horrible opinions to a wall and sit there.

Alright, first, this had nothing to do with patriotism. Second, even if this was "patriotic", is there a problem with that? Can we not express hate and grief for these innocents, no matter what country they're from?

I'm sorry for being inconsiderate, you clearly lack human feeling.

I think your misunderstanding. It's not the fact that it isn't a horrible thing, because it is. It's just the fact that these things happen every day on other parts of the world, but why is it only when they happen in America they are popularized by news stations every where?

Now I'm not criticizing KOTO for making this topic, but seriously. Why is it, when a bomb goes off in America, everyone is talking about it, and making forums topic about it. And then bombs go off in the middle east, and no one cares? It's not about who's better or who's right or who's wrong, it's about the fact that we think we know tragedy. But we don't know tragedy. We don't ruin America by exploiting its resources, we import them and exploit everyone else.

We don't know what it's like to face true sadness, or see true evil. Nevertheless it doesn't make this or any other bombing situation any less tragic.

Fun fact, I read news. A bomb went off in the middle east today and killed 31 people. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-22149863. I am sad. But The Boston bombing kinda hits closer to home.

I live in America too, ok, but that doesn't mean I only have to think American. We should value others as others value us. What makes the US any more important than any other country?

What's more tragic, a few people getting killed in an incident in the US, or the fact that similar things happen every day in other countries and get ignored?

I'm not saying that American people have any less value than any other people in the world, but we also aren't better than anyone else either. (Anthropologically speaking we are technically all from Africa so-)

Anyways, I still think it's a horrible thing that happened and I send my condolences to the wounded.

Re: Bomb at the Boston Marathon

Just had a conversation on omegle. Gonna post it in code. (Don't worry, editing out anything rule-breaking.)

You're chatting with a random stranger. Say hi! Question to discuss: THE PEOPLE IN BOSTON DESERVED IT Stranger is using Omegle's mobile Web site (omegle.com on a phone or tablet) You: **** YOU Stranger: No they didn't! Stranger: ***hole! Stranger: Who came up with this question?!?! You: THE ***** THAT POSTED THIS QUESTION DOESN'T DESERVE ONE OF GOD'S PRECIOUS GIFTS You: LFE You: *LIFE You: Amirite? Stranger: That just **** me off! Why did they deserve it, huh? Stranger: You said it. You: Maybe cause he's the one that planted the bombs Stranger: My thoughts go to the people in Boston. You: obv im jumping to conclusion You: Yes You: Condolences. Stranger: And to the doctors and people helping those in need. You: *moment of silence* You: *end silence* Stranger: Thank you You: Yeh, just like Newtown Stranger: How can people be so cruel? You: Or wherever Sandy Hook was You: Anyways You: Yeh, but this is a cruel world we live in. Stranger: I don't understand it. You: Well Stranger: I don't like it much. You: They're evil You: Possibly Stranger: Yes, yes they are. You: Or maybe they weren't cared for when they were young You: And abused Stranger: That could be true You: And left alone You: With dark dark thoughts Stranger: That's a big part of the problem. You: Yup. Stranger: People simply not caring for one another You: And eventually, they would turn away from the light of goodness. You: Hardening their heart You: Or, the could be acting like an angel You: But in the night Stranger: Tainting their soul You: Be evil little devils You: *Being You: And Stranger: Very well said, my friend. You: Dirtying the names of towns You: Thank you. You: It's actually really sad. Stranger: Moment of silence for those affected today? You: Sure You: How about another one. You: :') Stranger: :) You: *silence* Stranger: *end* Stranger: Thanks. You: It's nice to know that some people in this world aren't heartless. Stranger: I'm glad that some of the people on this earth are good. You: Yup. Like you, my friend. Stranger: You, as well. You: Thank you. You: Maybe, it was something like this You: Or what i'm about to explain You: So, I was watching some talk show You: And You: They were talking about people that were like the best people around You: Like a best friend, really well-known for good deeds You: But You: Where no one goes, they slaughter people and innocents, without leaving a trace of evidence. You: It's scary. You: And maybe the bomber was one of these people. You: Your thoughts? Stranger: That's extremely scary. You: Yeah. Freaky, too. Stranger: And it does happen. You: It saddens me. Stranger: Community leaders, such as teachers, or family friends.. You: Yeah You: Exactly what I meant You: Innocent-looking people Stranger: They can sometimes do more damage than the stranger lurking in alleyways You: Yeah Stranger: Because you trust them... You: And they betray Stranger: You trust them not to hurt you. You: To protect you Stranger: Or take advantage. You: To have your back. You: And guess what? Stranger: It just hurts so much more. You: They'd backstab you. You: Yeah. It does You: Someone you lovede or trusted You: *loved You: And then... Stranger: Yeah. You: A dread. Betrayal. Backstabbing. You: Feeding off your fears. Stranger: It leaves you scared Stranger: And alone You: Yes. It definetly would. You: Hmm Stranger: You feel as if you couldn't trust that one person... You: Definetly seems like a mis-spelled word. Stranger: You can't trust anyone. You: After that happens. You: All you can trust is yourself. You: And maybe one or two persons that you spend ALL, and I mean ALL, your time with. You: And even still. Stranger: Usually those who understand. Stranger: Or have gone what you have been through. You: Like Tom Riddle. If you know Harry Potter. You: Yeah. Stranger: Yes, exactly. Stranger: Tom Riddle is a perfect example. You: Why, though? Why could people be like this...? Stranger: Greed, Stranger: Anger You: Hate You: Fear You: And the list goes on. You: Maybe they rely on something Stranger: The saddest thing is, Stranger: That it will never stop You: Like an addiction You: Well what I meant Stranger: There will always be someone who causes pain You: Yes. That is the problem. Stranger: And there is nothing we can really do. You: Except watch. Watch as faith in humanity gets diminished and restored. OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. You: And it burns. You: The fact that both things happen. You: Restoration...and diminishing. You: Or...diminishment if it is a word. Stranger: The good thing is, though, that there will always be good people. You: True. You: But the thing is... Stranger: People that bring light and hope back into the world. You: Yes. But what we talked (or more or less what I was) talking about earlier. Stranger: Yes? You: The one where I was talking about that talk show... You: Hmm. You: Ctrl+C won't work... You: Shucks. Stranger: I'm sure it was a good one. Which show was it? You: Idk... You: Oh wait You: I remeber You: *remember You: It was Dr. Phil. Stranger: I like him. Stranger: This was a recent episode? You: Nah You: Like, months or even a year ago. Stranger: Hmmm Stranger: Maybe I will be able to see it eventually. You: Hopefully. You: :) Stranger: And I will most likely remember you. You: As will I. Stranger: One decent human being with a good heart. You: Thank you. As to you. Stranger: Can I at least know your name? I know you're supposed to remain a stranger, but I think I want to refer to you, if I ever have a conversation like this again You: -my name here-. You? Stranger: I don't need your surname. You: Ah, ok. Stranger: -stranger's name here-. You: Yours? You: Hmm. You: Well, when we do disconnect, I will save this chat. Stranger: Me too. You: I hope all those in Boston have a stress-free night, although I can not see how, what with the bombing. Stranger: It's going to be a long time before things can be resolved. You: Hmm. You: True. You: I heard on CBS that some people still weren't over the Sandy Hook shooting. You: And I don't blame them Stranger: I'm not quite over it either. Stranger: I can only imagine. You: Yeeah. Stranger: What if my little sister was killed? You: :o That would be sad. Stranger: I would be devastated. You: As would I. You: I don't like my cousins a lot, but since they're my age, and are family, I would be quite devastated, too. Stranger: I just think, those families lost someone dear loved ones. You: Hmm Stranger: Their children. Stranger: It's just sad. You: From what I remember, only two people were killed. However, one was a child. You: An 8-year-old. Stranger: Those who were injured are probably having a hard time, as well. Stranger: I can't even think about it. You: It's hard to think about it. Stranger: An 8-year-old You: Yup. You: I'm looking at my pencil lead cases, and I'm like, "Why am I doing this!?" You: I should be giving condolences. Stranger: It's okay :) You: Thanks. :) Stranger: You caring at all is proving that you are better than the moron who wrote the question in the first place. You: Red graphite. 12pcs. And then, 123 pieces of graphite. You: Thanks. You: Don't get me started again, though. You: That little bastard... You: Uh-oh, I'm getting started. Must...Control... Stranger: Haha You: Phew. Controlled. Stranger: Shall we talk about something happier? You: Sure. Stranger: Let's see. .. You: It's actually nice to know that there are some sane people on omegle, not just dumb ****s that ask for asl. You: Oh, yeh. Stranger: Here, here! You: When someone says "asl", just say "American Sign Language". Stranger: Hahaha You: That's one of the proper meanings for asl. lol Stranger: I like it. Stranger: Applause to you! You: I used that on someone a couple of chats ago. Thanks. You: And they were like Stranger: I rarely go on sites like these, just to avoid people like that. You: ARRGH **** **** -bleep bleep- etc You: Yeh. Stranger: But every once in awhile I meet someone cool. You: But being bored drives people to things that they wouldn't normally do. You: Yeah. You: Cool and casual. You: :) Stranger: So true! Stranger: So -my name here-, do you usually go one omegle? You: Not a lot. You: But Stranger: Just for kicks and giggles? You: Yeh, sometimes You: Just to prank people You: With the asl thing You: What about you, -stranger's name here-? Stranger: Haha. You: I hope I spelled that right -.- Stranger: When I'm on here, I usually am a smart *** to all of the "***** males" You: Lol Stranger: You did :) You: I just checked. xD You: Do you normally go on here? Stranger: Not really. Only when I feel rebellious. You: Actually, the main reason I was on here tonight was because of Boston. You: Lol. Rebellious. You: Hopefully Obama will make those jerks feel the FULL 100% weight of justice. Stranger: Yes. You: So...How's life? :T Stranger: Before today, pretty great. You: I'm feeling...bittersweet at the moment. Stranger: Why? You: Boston Stranger: Yes, that is what ruined my day. You: Hang on You: brb Stranger: *sigh* if I have to. Stranger: :) You: Alright, just had to do something really quick You: So, yeh. Stranger: No problem, sir. You: Lol You: [derpmode]I hoper youu wernt bord![/derpmode] Stranger: Never! You: Lol. Stranger: I must ask though, You: Yes? Stranger: Derpmode? You: Oh You: Kinda like "Do whatever you want and do stupid things that you normally wouldn't do" Stranger: Then I'm in derpmode about 75% of the time? Stranger: Sounds about right. You: Like you wouldn't normally flail your arms and scream "I am a chicken" at the top of your lungs would you? You: That's one example. Stranger: I do that every day before breakfast. You: LOL Stranger: You don't do that? Stranger: You surprise me. You: Maaaaaaaaaaaaybe! You: Hmm, gonna hold "a" for 49 seconds. Stranger: Oh goodness. You: Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe! You: D-D-D-dayum! You: I didn't think it would be that long Stranger: I think you just broke omegle. You: I thought it would go a little bit vertical. You: Like grouping Stranger: Now my screen is all wonky!! Stranger: Hahahaha You: Geez I hope you're joking if not, truly sorry :( You: Woops, almost disconnected

Re: Bomb at the Boston Marathon

First off, I already know people are going to hate me for this post.

The bombing killed about 3 people. Not that I don't feel bad for these people, but this is just like the Sandy Hooke   shooting. It was some idiot looking for attention, terrorist or not. The media makes way too big a deal out of it and gives the criminal their satisfaction. I'm sure Obama is going to act like he really cares about this, when in truth he bombs innocent places more often than such a tragedy has ever occurred in America. Why should we be complaining when we're just as bad as them?

That's why I hate this country, and it would be my dream to leave it.

Re: Bomb at the Boston Marathon

I don't see why everyone is making such a big fuss over it. Like treejoe4 said, this happens ALL THE TIME around the rest of the world. But now that it has happened in 'Murica, we have to hear about it, be shut down if we don't mourn the deaths of complete strangers, and have to deal with increased security everywhere. This happens whenever there is some sort of 'attack' when some nutcase decides to kill a bunch of people. It happened after 9/11, the London Bombings, and it's sure as hell going to happen now.

tl;dr: Humanity sucks.

No, Treejoe4 is most certainly not offensive, and honestly I think you are being more selfish than him. You only care about this bomb because it's closer to YOUR home. And you say you KNOW about other bombings, but do you actually care? What about their homes? What about their families?

You know it's great that you want to pity yourself, but don't think we are the only people on the world. That's all that I'm trying to say. I'm not trying to start an argument over whether it's wrong to feel bad or not, because really it's only natural to be upset, but don't think we are the only ones in the world who face this problem. And when you think you have it bad, you probably don't have it nearly as bad as someone else in the world.

If everyone mourned the deaths of everyone that died everywhere in the world, no-one would get anything done. Leave the mourning for the families of the deceased.
