Abandon Stuff/Nature reclaims

I love old abandoned stuff where nature reclaims. It's good stuff.

A while ago when I was down in right in the outskirts of Wales in this quite village, and I cam across this abandoned rail bridge, that went across the big river, and I have no idea what it was called, and I didn't have my camera, so I couldn't take pictures, but there was moss, and rust, and it still looked strong, it was awesome.

Are there any abandoned sites near you, that look awesome.

God, I hope I'm not the only one who loves nature and abandoned stuff. Anyway, as I said, if you have an landmark or places near you that are abandoned please do speak of them.

I live next to an aboriginal town filled with abandoned houses that were caught in fires. We also live near an old abandoned Military Base, no pictures though, sadly.

What sort of stuff is at the ol' Military base?

There was an abandoned old school building near my house. Me and some friends once went to it to explore at night, and it was creepy as hell

Ground is really dirty, theres some huts with holes in them, tons of rust, faded green buildings, the works. Pretty neat.

I've driven past an abandoned movie theatre, it has broken windows and old chipped paint. The inside of it has old furnishings.

Apparently it got closed due to someone stabbing people through their seats at night.
I have no pictures of it, might take a few next time I see it.

YES! This is why I love apocalypse movies and scenarios.

Once, I watched a show on what would happen to the world if humans just vanished. They showed what would happen to cities (wolves live in NYC), and world landmarks. It was awesome, I keep hoping I'll see it again.

Places near me... I live in an area of the U.S. that was big on railroads in the late 1800's. We have a railroad that now is missing the boards but has the rails. It runs through a forest, and is now a nature trail. Every mile there is a stone that marks a mile for the train (no duh). The stones are neat because they are mossy and worn down and remind me of gravestones.

I never saw that show..

We have an old railway line near us, but it's not even that old, but it still has some of the old railway sleepers down. But the bridge is pretty awesome, as it had greenery hanging from it, and it generally looks old and abandoned. I love it like that
