Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Do you support world peace, under what conditions would you believe war should be waged?
Everyone with rational thought supports world peace, it's just a question of how can it be accomplished. War is justified when a group/nation decides to go at war for the greater good, such as the Allies in WWII.
"War does not determine who is right, but it determines who is left."
I sort of wish America would stop playing the world police. Costs us so much money and often its what causes problems, because not everyone wants American troops where they live.
As a little kid I thought that why have war where people end up dead when we can just have a huge chess tournament between the countries at disagreement? I still think it's not a bad idea.

Or rock, paper, scissors.

Why do that when you can just race through "are you a god"?

The problem is that in chess, you're all agreeing to follow rules. If you die, then you've lost and you ain't coming back. If you're playing chess in place of WWII, then the loser just pulls a gun and the other guy has lost permanently and irreversibly. If you don't take into account the moral reasons and the extreme importance of human life, war is by far the best solution to conflicts because someone who loses is incapable of retaliating. Of course, it should only be a last resort and for pease and goodness.

Russia originally lost to the Germans in WWII, but guess how that ended.

I say war is only the solution when there is no other solution. Sort of like a last resort thing.

What this guy said. I don't see why war is necessary.

As I said before, that won't work because the loser has to agree that he lost.

What is there are two countries, country A and country B.
Country A is rich and flowing with resources that they prefer to keep to themselves. Country B however has superior technology and decides to invade country A using war tactics to exploit Country A's resources. If country A tries to friendly protest, Country B kills the protestors. How is country A going to defend itself without war?
I believe in world peace, but if you don't give me everything that I want, I'll bomb the crap out of you.
*I'm sorry, but I have to put this, because there are inevitably going to be a couple people that will take this too literally, and I don't want to start any sort of pointless fight. I said this because that's the way a lot of people seem to act. They believe in it, but certainly do not practice it. In reality, I believe that war is in human nature, and will probably always exist. Remember, for every action, there is an opposite, and equal reaction. For every positive, there must be a negative to counter balance it*

I'm thinking of a Utopia like planet where people don't have the urge to shoot each other in the face. Sadly it's not like that.

Because this planet has bad people that need a war head that will remove the fillings of their teeth
I hate war.
Just put that out there, now what I have to say.
Failgirl has a point. But! Why would Country B even do that? Wouldn't it be easier if all the countries kept to themselves in that manner?
Iraq, Afghanistan, NK, Nazi-Germany.
Stupid governments.

Country A has money/resources that country B wants.

World War.
I believe that war is completely unnecessary. I am against it, I don't support the troops.
I believe in Strength through Freedom, not Freedom through Strength.
The government should stop spending money We don't have, to kill people We don't know, for reasons We don't understand. This will probably not happen if you vote for Obama or Romney, because voting for the lesser of two evils will still lead to evil.
Regardless, the war issue is convoluted... but my morality disagrees with it.

Wasting thousands of lives to accomplish something that instead of diplomacy is just wrong, no matter what. I'm not even going to mention the conspiracy theorists that say the US economy runs on war (which I don't agree with, but...).
If it's againt something as ridiculous as the WWII Nazis, for example, it's s bit more justifiable, but against who you just think that have WMDs? Gg.

How dare you call me American!
I hate war, but it will always be inevitable. One country, one way or another, will find some excuse for it, good or bad.
I don't support world peace. Probably because it's impossible and is just another daydream.

Saying you don't support world peace because it isn't possible is ridiculous.

This might sound cold but:
No war = Way less human deaths = Too much humans = Big problems.
