Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I haven't ever felt comfortable to speak about this subject, but I feel like it's good to talk about thing and to get them off your chest. Anywho, I hear voices all the time. Some freak me out, some are nice, some tell me do things and such, it's odd like you try to ignore them but you just can't. Sometimes it's my dad saying "You alright, son?". And they're definitely in my head.
I also have really bad "exploding head syndrome" I'm not sure if it's related with the voices, but that's really scary.
Anyway, I don't know how normal it is, but do any of you guys here voices? Or know some who does? what do they say? Who are they? Do you react to them? (I don't know if I sound completely insane right now, I hope not)
I don't hear voices, and I find it difficult to imagine.

Awesome. Why is that?
I don't even know why I hear them since I haven't told my psychiatrist or anything, since I don't want him think I'ma crazy. he ones asked if I do, but I said "No"

Well that's a silly thing to do.
You'll want to tell him that. You can get the appropriate treatment to try and help you stop hearing the voices.
Due to the fact you are not suffering from Delusions, i would say it isn't anything to worry about in terms of Psychotic Episodes. Your Psychiatrist will understand. A lot of people get this in there Child / Teen years as the brain is developing. It can also come on due to other issues, such as Depression and Anxiety issues. Treat them and it should also treat the voices.
I heard voices for a small period of time and it used to scare me because i was too young to rationalise what was going on. It kind of just reinforced my childish beliefs in superstitious stuff.
They went after a few months though, and i was pretty good after that.
Now, i don't really remember it. So it hasn't affected me as far as i know.

I don't tell him a lot of things I should. Probably why I'm not getting better lol.

That will explain it then. ha

Why is it that I don't hear voices, or that I can't imagine it? I can't imagine it because it hasn't happened to me, and that I'll never hear someone else hearing voices.
I tend to hear voices in my head every now and then.
Sometimes it makes me talk to myself and no one else in my family knows what the hell I'm on about half the time.
Not so much now as I used to though.
I hear my own voice in my head, that's all.
Apparently, sometimes I talk to myself. It's a weird habit that I mime all the things that I say in my head, and maybe even softly whisper them.

I don't hear things, but every once in a while I'll see weird things out of the corners of my eyes sometimes, and when I look directly at it it's gone. :/

That's very common in my life. I usually see some arachnid or insect I have a fear of on a wall.
Exploding Head Syndrome is one of the strangest things. For those who don't know...
Exploding head syndrome is a form of hypnagogic auditory hallucination in which the sufferer sometimes experiences a sudden loud noise coming from within their own head. The noise is brief and is usually likened to an explosion, roar, gunshot, door slamming, loud voices or screams, a ringing noise, the sound of electrical arcing (buzzing) or a thud.
This noise usually happens at the onset of sleep or within an hour or two of falling asleep, but is not necessarily the result of a dream.[1] Although the sound is perceived as extremely loud, it is usually not accompanied by pain. Attacks appear to change in number over time, with several attacks happening in a space of days or weeks, followed by months of remission. Sufferers often feel a sense of fear and anxiety before and after an attack, accompanied by elevated heart rate. Attacks may also be accompanied by perceived flashes of light (when perceived on their own, known as a "visual sleep start") or difficulty in breathing. The condition is also known as "auditory sleep starts". The associated symptoms are varied, but the benign nature of the condition is emphasized and neither extensive investigation nor treatment are indicated.[1] Sufferers may experience an inability to vocalize any sound, or mild forms of sleep paralysis during an attack. There is no known treatment.[2]
Thanks for that deetz.
It's terrifying, every time I'm just about to fall asleep,.
How do you get back to sleep after your head explodes?

This one time I was eating lunch with my friends, I looked down at my lunch and I could see her just vomit cheese on her lap. I look up and there's no cheese. Later the guy sitting next to her did the same thing.

I never heard any voices, but when I listen to/hear a song, it gets stuck in my head for a ridiculous amount of time and I start to 'hear' it at the most random times.
Maybe it's normal, but it can be very annoying depending on the music.

I don't ever hear voices, but I often randomly hear noises I hear often when it's not actually happening like an IRC ping or a barking dog, but I would assume that's a normal phenomenon.

The songs bit happens to me all the time, I don't think it's a bad thing, just gets annoying after a while.

You realize there was an irc issue with pings right? You probably did hear it.

I used to hear a voice that sounded like an angry yelling, but the voice never said any legible words. I knew it was saying words, but they were not understandable.
@exploding head syndrome:
Once when I was about to fall asleep, I heard a violent loud buzzing in my head, and my head shook for under a second. This only happened once.

I definitely have exploding head syndrome then.
Once when I was about to fall asleep, I heard a violent loud buzzing in my head.
I get that a bit but it's not when I'm about to fall asleep and it's not a buzzing, more like a telephone ringing and pretty much any time during the day.
EDIT: Awesome, 500 posts and a new title! surveyor... what a let down...

I sometimes will hear creepy laughter coming from my basement at night when I'm home alone.
When hearing the noisemaker for minutes or even hours in bedtime, I start hearing really strange noises and sometimes even voices, depending on where I'm laying down on my pillow. Does this happen for anyone else?
