Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

No, no I am not.
I hate America the country. Every time I say something negative towards it people get stupidly patriotic and take it as a personal offense, and the other half of the   time I am just trolling because it's far too easy too annoy people.

I think everyone is equal.

Not a troll, nor am I looking to disrespect anyone.

Your also an idiot, as you assume too many things about which are wrong, for example you think I am racist and homophobic.

And Echo, I'm not defending any medication or solution. It's just a simple fact that alcohol doesn't help with depression.

If it didn't help for a short period of time, we would not being having this discussing. That's a fact.

It would probably be far more healthier and helpful to look for other solutions. I don't know if you have an addictive personality, but some people who drink 'just this once' get hooked.

I don't troll on this forum often, when I argue I am not a troll.

No, my physical health is fine. I drink no more than anyone else. If I drunk every other day, or everyday, then you'd be right. I drink nearly once a month, many once ever 2 months. Nothing to worry about.

I have a rant, patriotism.

Why does anyone feel the need to love a country, especially that country that does regular drone strikes on poor foreign people?

Re: Echo's Rants.

If you are going to rant, get your own dang topic. That is thread hijacking. This is Echo!'s thread to rant in, not a general rant topic, kthx.

Is it important to respect the topic's intended purpose? Yes, it is.

This is the last post about anything not Echo's-rant-related. Unless he brings up Americanism/Alcoholism or whatever you're talking about, don't even bring it up.

Actually, better idea: just type out your post like usual and then put it here instead: http://eeforumify.com/viewtopic.php?id=27349

[In reply to MFL:] To be honest, I don't really care if it's an interesting topic. You can very easily settle it here [http://eeforumify.com/viewtopic.php?id=27349], where it is welcome and relevant. Echo, the owner of that topic, mind you, has politely asked that you not derail his topic with discussions of alcoholism and patriotism.

If you would like to post irrelevant discussions on that topic, you can also collect the proper amount of warnings - one for every irrelevant post.[/i]

In what way is that meant to not to be final, but in no other words settling what was unintended as a tangent, though interesting?

Also, if that wasn't the case, as I don't believe you would think it to be, isn't it proper to have treejoe4 talk more?

Politeness.

04/1/13

This may be very opinionated, though, it seems well mannered people are very rare these days. Politeness has become so rare that I guess some people mistake it for flirtation. You used to be able to hold a door open for a stranger and receive a "Thank you" not no more. I'm not to sure why this is happening, but simple manners don't come around that often, it's sad. I do not understand, why it's so hard to say "Thank-you", "please" "you're welcome" "Pardon" Simple easy words. First of all it was teenagers, now it seem it is spreading on to the older generations too. It's irritating and rude to say the least.

Is this just the UK? Or has anyone else notices.

Thanks for reading.

Re: Echo's Rants.

I try to be polite everywhere I go.

One time I held the door in a movie theater for 20 seconds, and a girl told my father how impressed she was.

I don't find something like that impressive, I just find it polite and a given. Especially in today's society, it seems we are all too interested in ourselves and our well-being than what would be nice for other people.

I used to hold doors a lot but 5 minutes later I'd still be holding the door going >_<' so I don't do it as often now. I'll always shove the door wide open, but I'll only stand there if there's a string of people going the opposite direction.

When it's been more than a minute I wait until there's no person within 30 feet and run.

Just do what I do and when opening a door, keep your hand on it as you are going passed, and if no one takes hold of the door then no one wants it.

I'm often polite both in my formal and informal life. It's just something I've practiced from a young age.

I got twenty dollars for holding the door open for someone. Sure they were trying to be generous and thank me, but I felt kind of guilty to receive that much cash for something so little.

One time I unloaded furniture onto a random guys backyard, and he gave me $50.

Advice

31/03/13
There is a fine line between giving someone advice and telling someone how to live one's life. I guess it's a multifaceted situation, as when people are giving you advice and you either decline against their advice it's likely that advice giver will start judging you, just because you don't do the stuff he/she does. Not everyone does, but it seems a lot of people judge when giving someone advice related with life issues. That's usually when they start telling you to how to live you like "I would do this" "If I was you" "It's a good idea if you-" "I don't know why you don't" Why can't it just be "Hey, maybe you should ---" I don't get what's hard about that. It just seems like people who try to give help, want the person in need to live like them. This has been happening a lot to me lately.

Mistakes

31/03/13

Mistake = An error or fault resulting from defective judgment, deficient knowledge, or carelessness. Yet, it seems people don't understand that. People can make one single mistake, and suddenly get a vault of freaking hate, whatever they did, they didn't mean to do it. I don't see why people aren't forgiving "okay buddy, you didn't mean it" Nope, not in our day an age. They have received a ton of lectures and hate, for one thing they didn't even mean to do their self? They know it wrongs their self, and they messed up, but yet, people carry on tell them push them to ground, even though they know they made judgmental error, I just don't get why people just can't forgive people for something they KNOW THEY DONE WRONG. What is wrong with people?
