Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: Echo's Rants.

I have a rant, alcohol.

Why are so many young people from 12 to mid 20s obsessed with alcohol. People around my age often go to parties filled with this stupid liquid weekly or monthly. This stupid liquid is responsible for mass stupidity in youths, and so much needed natural selection (no complaining about that). The use of alcohol is also seen at a young age as a 'cool' thing, and to have any social rank you need to drink it, regardless of the fact it has no benefits.

Too many extroverted teenagers who party, who far to often confirm how low their IQ is.

That's not actually true, but the benefits are not enough to balance out many people's drinking.

I think it's okay for a few years after it's first legal, but ya gotta be able to realize when it's less for fun and more for addiction that you're drinking and cut it out. I used to be like that but I wised up to how stupid I was being and now don't drink too often. I don't really regret when I did do it cuz it's damn fun, but I'm probably going to get married sometime in the next few years and have to be more serious.

TLDR: Alcohol is fun but stop after it's lost its initial thrill, that's what I did.

I agree.

It's not the alcohol thats's the problem, it's the people drinking excessive amounts of it or drink even though they know there one of those people who get violent or totally loose control of there inhibitions.

When i drink alcohol i tend to only drink moderately and now few and far between seeming as i hardly go out anymore.

I often found, for me, that when i was drunk i actually didn't loose my inhibitions at all. I would sometimes get upbeat and hyperactive, and somewhat less socially anxious about myself, if i was indoors in some kind of party. But other times i have been drunk, especially if i was outside at night, i would get into deep thought about humanity and how fortunate i am to be here or astrophysics when looking at the stars or something.

My conclusion is it's the people that is the problem.

So alcohol doesn't get people drunk, people get people drunk?

Why Teenagers drink - Because it makes them feel "tough" and they enjoy getting drunk, and they think it's funny.. They also tend to drink whenever they feel like it
Why I drink -   Depression. I Know I should not abuse alcohol, well in fact I don't, I really only drink on special occasions; birthdays, holidays, ect. Sometimes I just need a pick me up, In fact I know it#s out right stupid, and it only kills my brains cells, causes corrosion on my liver but sometimes people do what they got to do.

It's a choice, we all have choices we can make in life.

Plus, it makes him feel better. Sort of like giving you painkillers when in extreme pain. It can become an addiction, but it can also be good for you.

I know I am not the only here who cries their self to sleep for no reason what so ever. I know I'm not the only one here who sometimes has trouble motiving his self to eat. I know I am not the only one here with depression that can not be treated with medicine. The reason I say that is because, I guess you have all these systems alot?

No? Then don't judge.

No you are wrong, no one has to do anything. You only think you have to drink alcohol.

Oh, and explain to me how alcohol is a good long term anti-depression solution, because it isn't. Depression may be not be treated with medicine all the time, but there is no logical reason why alcohol is a better solution.

Oh yeah, a big congratulations for supporting alcohol as an actual good solution to depression, well done for being ignorant to the fact that alcohol DOES NOT CURE DEPRESSION.

And, the 'You have no right to judge' thing isn't something which should be said. Because everyone has a right to opinion, especially in circumstances where someone is living in ignorance.

It's not a need, it's more of a want. Wanting not to feel horrid all the time.

Oh, and explain to me how alcohol is a good long term anti-depression solution, because it isn't.

I know very well, that drinking will not work long term, it is only very short term. Though tell me what is a long term anti depressaint, that works, doesn't make me feel suicidal, and that I haven't tried before?

Depression may be not be treated with medicine all the time, but there is no logical reason why alcohol is a better solution.

I understand alcohol causes corrosion on my liver, kills my brains cells, and may make be do stupid things. I'm like any other normal person anyway, drinking at Christmas and birthdays. Why make a fuss with me? Go post an article in the new paper.

Oh yeah, a big congratulations for supporting alcohol as an actual good solution to depression, well done for being ignorant to the fact that alcohol DOES NOT CURE DEPRESSION.

Do you actually think I'm stupid? I know! I know! alcohol is a short term effect, for the record it's hereditary. You think I actually go "Oh yay I want to get drunk" it's more like "uhh, I think I could do with a drink"

And, the 'You have no right to judge' thing isn't something which should be said. Because everyone has a right to opinion, especially in circumstances where someone is living in ignorance.

There's a difference between judging opinions and reasons. How am I living in ignorance? You honestly think I like causing harm to body? I get weekly help. My psychiatrists knows about this too. How is that ignorance, if I was ignorant, then I would decline help.

You're talking to me like I am so teenager, that loves a good p**s up, with he mates, Wrong. You're also talking to me like, I don't know what I'm doing. wrong. I have a psychiatrists too. I have also been on plenty of anti depressants, yet none seem to take effect, or some tend to make me feel suicidal. Can you stop being so stupid now? Why put your nose into something that you don't understand?

Not a troll, nor am I looking to disrespect anyone.

Your also an idiot, as you assume too many things about which are wrong, for example you think I am racist and homophobic.

And Echo, I'm not defending any medication or solution. It's just a simple fact that alcohol doesn't help with depression.
