I enjoy to rant about how bad or silly stuff is in this world, so what's better than making a topic of my just cleary ranting about total rubbish than some of you do not even care about? At least I will get some opinions on it. Lest start of with music.. Uh.

Where's real music gone?

I clearly do not think this is a "people have different tastes" situation.
Ever since autotune hit the stage, the charts have been filled with total and utter nonsense, though some of the pop singers can sing, though, alot of them can't. Ke$ha, she is a perfect example, she can not sing to save her life, or better yet, she doesn't sing, she just mumbles like a drunk silly girl, and she really makes a living out of it?
Her songs may be catchy but her voice ruins the how thing, The whole idea of the charts and music is to use your talent and impress people, thus making them buy your music, not autotune. Then there's Bieber, Britney Spears and loads more, that I wouldn't know of, since I do not listen to the charts. However, I do try to listen to some of the songs, though, it's all horrible, how do people even like Gangman Style?
Next, most of the songs these days have no meaning, the lyrics are total madness. Don't people have the ability to sit down and write a decent song, and sing it with a decent band, and not all this autotune, computer generated crap? It shouldn't be a rarity to hear a decent song. Discuss if I am so incorrect.
Dating Sites, really?

I honestly can not believe people honestly use dating sites, I find this highly stupid and dangerous, for one, alot of the people on dating sites are not real, or they're people just looking for one thing. I really abhor the fact that people actually use them and in the end meet up with a person that they meet off the web. Okay, sometimes it may work out great, but most times it will not. It's the equivalent of meeting up with someone that I have met in a dark alley at midnight who was wearing a mask, yet people don't see this danger. I just can not see how people will think it will really work. Do you know someone who used a dating site and got a partner?
Self Diagnose

This is mainly pointed at teenagers. It seems just lately that people decide that have a serous mental health issue, only because they're feeling a normal emotion that everyone feels; A boy dumps a girl, then the girl is pretty much "Ohhh I am so depressed, I have depression" when really what they are really feeling is a resentful   and sullen state, not depression, however I am not claiming you can not get depression from this. Then their is OCD, for some reason this have got really popular, alot of people I know say "I am so OCD omgogmg" - "Every night before sleeping I haz to check all the doors are locked" - Nah, you don't say?   I do too, That's because I do not wish to be burgled. Seriously, if you think you have something see a doctor, before you for an opinion.

Many people theses days are not interested at all in hearing other peoples problems as "We all have are own problems". though, why do people make this argument that "other people have it worse" or "worse things happen in the world"? By that logic, you can not complain about someone carjacking you, because somewhere else someone is getting tortured. We all have are own problems, that's the reason we have a voice, use it. People with serious problems who just want some ears to listen to them, are being forced by a bad society to keep their mouths shut about the problems that that they have as "people have it worse" or "we all have are own problems" which is why suicide is on the up. Thoughts? -

So many people these days also say to alot people "Go play with fire" "go die" "Kill your self", and the sickening truth is that people think this is funny, the person on the receiving end of it could have been contemplating leaving this world before the help of your words. I really think this is messed up, this happens so much on the top site, Imgur and youtube it happens alot.

I really have no idea if this is just in the UK, but here most teenagers (and some preteens) are so darn perverted, you can barley have a conversation with them without them mention something disgusting, or some part of the female body, I honestly find this extremely childish and frustrating. Most of my Facebook "friends" are like this, and they think they are "clever" but in fact, they're not they're just some hormonal juvenile. I can not even begin to express how frustrating this is. I have absolutely no idea what they gain from this. Is this just in UK. have you experienced this?

This may be very opinionated, though, it seems well mannered people are very rare these days. Politeness has become so rare that I guess some people mistake it for flirtation. You used to be able to hold a door open for a stranger and receive a "Thank you" not no more. I'm not to sure why this is happening, but simple manners don't come around that often, it's sad. I do not understand, why it's so hard to say "Thank-you", "please" "you're welcome" "Pardon" Simple easy words. First of all it was teenagers, now it seem it is spreading on to the older generations too. It's irritating and rude to say the least.

Is this just the UK? Or has anyone else notices.

There is a fine line between giving someone advice and telling someone how to live one's life. I guess it's a multifaceted situation, as when people are giving you advice and you either decline against their advice it's likely that advice giver will start judging you, just because you don't do the stuff he/she does. Not everyone does, but it seems a lot of people judge when giving someone advice related with life issues. That's usually when they start telling you to how to live you like "I would do this" "If I was you" "It's a good idea if you-" "I don't know why you don't" Why can't it just be "Hey, maybe you should ---" I don't get what's hard about that. It just seems like people who try to give help, want the person in need to live like them. This has been happening a lot to me lately.
Mistakes

Mistake = An error or fault resulting from defective judgment, deficient knowledge, or carelessness. Yet, it seems people don't understand that. People can make one single mistake, and suddenly get a vault of freaking hate, whatever they did, they didn't mean to do it. I don't see why people aren't forgiving "okay buddy, you didn't mean it" Nope, not in our day an age. They have received a ton of lectures and hate, for one thing they didn't even mean to do their self? They know it wrongs their self, and they messed up, but yet, people carry on tell them push them to ground, even though they know they made judgmental error, I just don't get why people just can't forgive people for something they KNOW THEY DONE WRONG. What is wrong with people?

Backstabbing

I guess this has always been a thing and always will be, but lately I've noticed it's becoming more popular and more childish, here, and in real life. Personally, if someone has got an issue with me, I'd rather they say it to my face, not behind my back, instead of me finding out some other way. I don't know how other people feel about that. But then, it goes into a form of bullying and then lies, and that's what bugs me the most, it seems people lie about the "victim" to make them see more worse than they really are, in an attempt to make the "bullier" look more reputational, because hey, hating people is a thing that gives you reputation now and makes you seem really cool! Give it a go. The whole concept of backstabbing is pretty frustrating, but it's when people have the urge to lie about the person, lie? Really, I just find it so childish.  

Then there is another form, where people say they hate someone behind their back, a lot od the time, like, they talk about the person whenever they get the chance, as if they can't get this person of their mind, I guess it's just me that if I don't like someone, I won't talk about them simple as that. Once again, hating on people is cool guys! I mean if you mention the person who you hate all of the time, then this makes people like uu!!!

I cognizant that this is nothing new, but I have been noticing it a lot more recently. I just can not get my head around it, if you don't like a person, you don't like them, leave it a that, I dislike a lot of people, but I don't around saying things about them when they are not their, or if I really hate them, I don't have the urge to lie about them, at all.

The whole thing is childish and pathetic, but that's life I guess.

Depraved Judgment

It seems people have the lack of judgement to certain situations, only due to the fact that something similar happened in their personal life. Let me give you an example, on BGT, someone wrote a song about cheating on their girlfriend, (it was pretty funny) all the other judges liked it and it said it was well done, but one judge was all "it's horrible, you're an evil person if you think this is funny, what's wrong with every one?" I think the answer to that question is: it's not them it's you. One of the other judges said "You can't bring your life when it comes to judgement" - Wise words.

Just because something happened in your life, why do you even let that effect certain situations as of where your judgment comes into play. I feel some (some being the key word here) doctors have this issue, which isn't great a career choice if you have to bring your life into others people; "My arthritis is really bad lately" "Mine acts up a lot of the time, but I don't have to keep coming back, anyway, here your prescription". That's true by the way.

It's really stupid if you ask me, if someone says they're feeling depressed I don't go all "IT CAN'T BE THAT BAD I'VE BEEN DEPRESSED ALL MY LIFE" This leads onto another thing, I'm not going to mention names, but they're a horse/car. It seems this personality has trouble believing simple things, even with evidence laid in front of their face, this is only due to their childhood, they probably grew up with a compulsive liar, and now they can not believe anything, as he thinks it's a lie, even if it is 100% true with evidence, I don't get it, I just wish people would stop getting confused with their life with someone else's. Anyway, I don't think people should bring their life into judgemental situations like the 4 examples.  

It's also dangerous, I'll let you work out how.

Evil parents.

I can honestly not believe it, that some parents are as evil as they are, if you don't like your child, why even have it? put it in a better home than yours.

It shocks me how people can, not love their own kids, I think that's impossible I couldn't hate ash ever.

Anyway, this kids lives near me, and his parents are so ignorant, selfish and mean. They spend too much time on the sofa cuddling up with each other to care about their own son, he get's told to play outside, as soon as he get's back from school, or play in his room and "be quiet" and he don't have nothing to play with in his room, apart from his bed., the parents never take him out anywhere, and don't care where he goes on the street, they never take him out for a meal, they don't care who he hangs about, and they don't enjoy looking after him. This drives me crazy. I just can not understand, how can two people even be so heartless and neglect like this and thinking nothing of it? WhY? WHY?

He spends more times on the streets, than he does at home, as his parents don't like him in the house, what sickens me is that this kid is 9.

Innocent kisses

I honestly hate it when people say "a kid under the age of 13 can not give consent for a kiss as they don't understand it" Or something along those lines. A freaking kiss. a 3 year old knows if they want a kiss or not, you should try to kiss one, they will push you away if you they don't want it. So don't freaking tell me that a 12 year old does not know what a kiss is.. I mean can't they see what they're doing? They wonder why the molestation rate is going up, if they haven't figured it out, they're stupid, if they make kissing a child a who is willing to, illegal then, in a pedophiles mind it will be; " no matter what I do, I'm going to get in a lot of trouble for it, so.. I'll just do the worst".

I mean I personally don't see any harm what so ever in kissing someone who doesn't mind, like not every hour either, nothing else involved, just standing up (in my case crouching ;]) and a quick kiss on the lips, and that's it.

In other words if laws are too tight, I feel people will just stop caring about them. I mean there definitely has to be some laws on kissing a child, just like don't get carried away and don't do it in a manner that's inappropriate, and make sure both parties are willing.

I understand if the child does not want to kiss, then this is terrible. but if they want to/or don't mind, then this argument is relevant.

I mean, I just think it's frustrating to not let a pedophile have an outlet, even if it's the smallest thing, like a hug or a kiss.

I agree with autotune not being of worth, however, not all songs in this time are bad. Believe me, there are some songs out there that might not be Top 100s or radio smash hits, but display a beautiful sense of what a song is all about.

Mainstream music has turned cold evil because of the development of money making techniques in the 90s. The 90s saw the rise of boy bands and other talentless idiots. Since the music industry is controlled, they will continue to fund artists that would make John Lennon spin in his grave, simply because they know what sells and what doesn't.

Music also died because of the rise of technology, when pretentious idiots figured how to turn on a computer, making noise that stimulates the most feeble of minds has never been easier. A common example of this is Dubstep.

We also are living in a society which is manipulated into believing mediocre characteristics and skills is the key to being a great person overall. So today music artists can be awful musicians because it is simply acceptable. Basically, it's more socially acceptable to along with music that promotes being rich, sexist etc.

Important factors in the death of music is the death of famous musicians, Kurt Cobain's death is very likely the beginning of the complete decay of rock music. It's also sad to remember that the last band to have a huge cultural impact across the world was Nirvana, 18 years ago.

And a point I have wondered about. With most people having an extroverted, conformist personality, the rise of crap music that often fits into clubs and other very social events will only help keep the cold dead mainstream music popular.

The ONLY thing that will save music is the rise of another genre, like what grunge or metal did. But the genres that tried to do this lately have failed at killing the evil mainstream music. Unfortunately the genre that could change music is Dubstep, all hope is lost for the mainstream success of talent.

I agree with autotune not being of worth, however, not all songs in this time are bad. Believe me, there are some songs out there that might not be Top 100s or radio smash hits, but display a beautiful sense of what a song is all about.

Plenty of decent artists out there, though, they do not get fame.

I couldn't agree with you more on music nowadays. And especially Gangnam Style. It makes me wanna punch someone. It's not music! I could put a pot noodle on the table and say "I made a song!" And it would qualify as a song more than Gangnam Style. People nowadays make me sick.

Putting aside the fact that Echo is always right, I completely agree with the music thing. You might as well mash up all of the system sounds your computer makes. As for the dating sites thing, I can't say I agree, but I also will never use one. It's more for hopeless people (as in, they have no hope in themselves, not that there is no hope for them).
