Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

That is very offensive, not to mention the broken grammar.

That's funny because one of the future quotes for my sig says that you SHOULD think. But I can sort of see the perspective of that quote that you...quoted.

"What happens when a builder's tool is broken? He finds a new one." ~MFL
It was something along these lines. The most sad quote I had ever experienced so far. You probably know what I am talking about.

Everything in this thread: http://eeforumify.com/viewtopic.php?id=12712
Also a lad on imgur posted this the other day, I really found it deep and truthful (and also a little corny. The conclusion is what matters):
"You have two eyes, each composed of 120 million photoreceptor cells. In each one of those cells, there are 100,000,000,000,000 (100 trillion) atoms - that's more than all the stars in the milky way galaxy.
However, each atom in each cell in each eye formed in the core of a star, billions of years ago, and yet, here they are today, being utilized to capture the energy released from that same process.
All to expand the consciousness that is you. The universe has an interesting sense of irony, in that you are the universe experiencing itself - all you are is a thought"
This is the idea that captivates me as an atheist. Some people think of atheists as believers in depressing science like "when you die nothing happens", but in all honesty that's the beauty of what I see in this quote. Can you really die? Let's move from the shallow idea that you're dead, boom, done.
Your body can be disseminated across the cosmos but the energy that comprises you and me is still there, and is the same. That energy is everywhere, in different frequencies and patterns and forms. That energy is the universe. You are the universe, and you are simply experiencing yourself.
Very deep. A book I just got done reading - Ender's Game - features an alien race ("buggers") that does not have individual beings; they are one giant creature that shares the same brain and the same thoughts and the same knowledge. All the separate buggers are just like the arms and legs of the queen's body. When you attack one fleet of starships, the entire race immediately knows exactly what happened and responds accordingly. That is the best analogy to this philosophy. We feel individual, we are ignorant of each other's thoughts and existence, but at the same time we are the same; dictated by universal laws like the queen dictates her minions.
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

This made me laugh.
'Friends come and they go, but family stay eternal'
Something Micheal Larsen (Eyedea/Oliver Hart), a rapper, said once:
"Isn't a person just a collection of their mistakes and also their undoing of their mistakes? I mean, what else are you? You're always just the reaction to the bad parts of yourself and I think that's what is the driving motivation behind any human being that wants to continue and grow and live life. They're looking at their flaws, and trying to go beyond them. I think that a person essentially dies when they think that they've found themselves. Unless you yourself wants to admit that you're not just an individual, but part of a whole movement of ideas, and thought, and culture, and humanity and furthermore, the Universe and everything. Unless you really feel like that, and you're walking through walls, you're always trying to find yourself. And it's usually the person who believes they've found "the answer" - found "the end" - that there actually is a psychological end. And then what's the point of doing anything after that?"
What a genius. A shame that he died. Like the one Takoman quoted, Micheal Larsen also said that everyone is part of a whole, especially in his song Here For You.
Source: Another rapper and Micheal Larsen's friend, Sadistik, made a song about him and at the end there's the quote.

EDIT :O I just saw a nice comment on the song I linked (Here For You).

"I tried being normal once. I had to kill him from growing." ~ Arceus64
"The world is a great place, and you normally want to feel "great." Everyone has a different opinion. Some may think having fun is "great," while others may thing that pain is "great." However, feeling great always feels great. Since everyone has a soul, why not spread the feeling? Everyone has a chance to have or spread greatness in their or other lives, no matter what."

Quoting me.
"Don't knock me down, because I'll stand right back up! If you think your words have an effect on me, they only encourage me! I refuse to be a punching bag for your statements!"
"Why continue with this? If you're trying to teach peace to these people, why continue to do so with brute force? What are they learning? Your attacks will only continue theirs. Fight with peace, or the lesson will never be learned."
"I've done regrettable things in my life, but I've always learned from them."
I changed the wise words in my sig.
"To build something new, you must tear down what's already in its place."
EDIT: I added all of my quotes, even the ones that aren't in my sig yet.
This topic is now for posting any quotes including your own. My sig will follow the quotes in the OP.

But what about my dying grandparent, or divorces?

When I read that I thought "What about my brother and my dad?" Yes, I still think of them. But that's very different to being alive.
So, yes, I agree with Fdoou :]
