The words that I follow and live by. They are found in my sig (The ones in my sig change every and once in awhile).

The list is up! All quotes are by ME.

That's funny because one of the future quotes for my sig says that you SHOULD think. But I can sort of see the perspective of that quote that you...quoted.

Also a lad on imgur posted this the other day, I really found it deep and truthful (and also a little corny. The conclusion is what matters):

This is the idea that captivates me as an atheist. Some people think of atheists as believers in depressing science like "when you die nothing happens", but in all honesty that's the beauty of what I see in this quote. Can you really die? Let's move from the shallow idea that you're dead, boom, done.

Very deep. A book I just got done reading - Ender's Game - features an alien race ("buggers") that does not have individual beings; they are one giant creature that shares the same brain and the same thoughts and the same knowledge. All the separate buggers are just like the arms and legs of the queen's body. When you attack one fleet of starships, the entire race immediately knows exactly what happened and responds accordingly. That is the best analogy to this philosophy. We feel individual, we are ignorant of each other's thoughts and existence, but at the same time we are the same; dictated by universal laws like the queen dictates her minions.

Something Micheal Larsen (Eyedea/Oliver Hart), a rapper, said once:

When I read that I thought "What about my brother and my dad?" Yes, I still think of them. But that's very different to being alive.
