Reggae and opinions on Reggae

Since I don't feel like writing much, I'll copy and paste Wikipedia.

Reggae is a music genre first developed in Jamaica in the late 1960s. While sometimes used in a broad sense to refer to most types of popular Jamaican dance music, the term reggae more properly denotes a particular music style that evolved out of the earlier genres ska and rocksteady.

I don't like roots reggae that much (except for bob marley, etc.), I'm more into California reggae.   Check out Sublime(If you don't know them, then wth), The Dirty Heads, The Expendables, 311, Pepper, & Rebelution.

I listen to reggae when I'm just hanging out, though I prefer dubstep-reggae such as Snoop Lion a lot.

My favorites are Matisyahu, Peter Tosh, and Bob Marley & the Wailers.

I've never actually listened to Matisyahu, and only know him because he did a song with The Dirty Heads, and then did a subsequent tour with them last year.   I should actually check him out at some point.

I like the "classic" reggae, my favourite singer is Bomb Marley.

Sometimes is it good to listen to it
