Why is it that this birthday topic stays when countless others have been sent to the Topic Graveyard? Is there some sort of bias going around these days?

From a PM (after I reported this thread saying that we already have the list of birthdays):

I think that thread is more of a central birthday list, and not a "say happy birthday to this person" kind of thing. I let the self gratification birthday threads live as they die within a day anyways. Thanks for your concerns!
