Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

For you people still in high school or middle school, this could be a pressing issue.
Are you guys "popular"? Do you agree with the whole stigma of popularity?
i sure as hell dont.
I say, worry about yourself and be yourself. Set your goals and achieve them, because life is a hell of a lot longer than the four years you're in prison, eh, i mean high school. The friends that you have then will be real.
Thoughts?

I'm totally not 'popular', but I have my group of friends and that's all I need. I think being popular is terrible, becausse you don't have real friends:o
I'm not popular but i have awesome friends.
Amen. Some would call me "popular", but I would disagree. I think its ridiculous, because you spend all your time trying to please other people. I have friends, and I'm happy because I can just be who I am without trying to fit in.
I used to be worried about it, and ran around trying to please people, until I was just like if people dont accept me, too bad

I think that popularity is stupid. Mainly because of the fact that Intelligence > Popularity.
In a nutshell:
Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.
Some would call me "popular", but I would disagree.
You are popular. Atleast you should be
Popularity is good until there's too much of it ^-^

What really irks me is that everyone starts trying to be the same in order to be popular. Especially those sterotypical popular white girls

Everyone is my friend. All my friends are popular. Everyone is popular.

I think popularity is a myth drilled into minds by society.
I have a great group (and a large group) of friends. But not once would I call myself popular. Popularity, to me, is not being known, or having many friends, its when you change to impress people, and become arrogant, as 32orton apparently is, and start saying things such as "Its funny how the unpopular people are...".
God.
So no, I am not that kind of popular.
Theres really no need to say snarky, irritating things such as that.

There isn't much of a popular / non popular conflict at my school. Everyone just has their own group of friends, and that's pretty much it.

I'd say I'm well-known in my school. I wouldn't really call it "popular". I don't have many friends because I hate people in general.

I'm popular, but I stick with a fairly small group of friends and we hang out in the library reading and doing work.

Master1: Actually thats how it is at my school. I'm well known by alot of people because I'm funny, but it really is like m1 said, everyone has their own groups.
But also like buzzerbee said, I hate people. I'm so so cynical. But to go to a school as ghetto as mine, you have to be to survive.
I'm not "unpopular", (I feel as if I have to defend myself now, ever since 32ortons rude comment ), I just dont like the idea of cliques.

I bet at the end of the school year, if I asked a person if they knew me (in another class that is), they would say "who are you?" I have awesome friends though.

It's obvious how i am not famous. I am as popular as a snail.
Find my exact popularity factor from the above info.

The only place where I'm a bit popular is EE and some things which have to do with it.
I got some friends and I'm happy with that.
Yeah people kinda have their own groups here too. Generally we don't get new kids, and when we do, they find a group easy. Where I live people mostly stay out of other people's business. If people think they are better than others, they don't go shoving that idea around. (At least that's what I see from my introvert perspective.)

Unpopular of my own volition.

I, uh, really don't pay much attention to people enough to know if I'm considered popular or not, but I'd assume not. I sort of do my best to blend in and to also get out of social interaction as soon as possible. I'm that one person, you know? The one who has to join a random group during groupwork.
I don't think it really matters, to be honest. It's eight hours a day out of 24 -- that's about a third of the day, with another third on average being sleeping time, and then you've got weekends, so overall, you're not at school more than you are at school, therefore unless you're a very social person (which, given the fact that we're on an internet forum, most of us probably aren't), popularity isn't really a big deal.
edit:
tl;dr:
I've been on a forum almost every day for three years, what do you think?

@Zoey: If you want to repel them, tell them you are a moderator on a kid's flash game forum, and that they should be jealous. It's easier than bug repellent.
I've only got a little group of friends and that's all. Not a sociable person.
Though some of the school remembers me for the, uh, over the top things I did back in 7th grade.

I had my own group of friends whom I've known since kindergarten, and then 4th grade - Current, I've met this girl I liked, who I think can be considered popular which led to numerous times of hearing this: "Hey, do you like ..." "Want me to tell her for you?" etc. Last one was the most irritating. I'd be like, "Um...please don't..."
But, considering I'm moving, I probably won't be in the same school district; I'll have to start all over in the making friends column. But, I'll still have them online or whatever. (Most don't use online social sites like FB, but I'll find another way.)
I spy on her using instagram.

The only reason I said that was because the people in here saying they are unpopular are all acting a certain way. Including you. You're making sweeping generalizations based on...well, based on nothing. Your definition of popularity is patently untrue.
