Air Freshener

I hate air freshener, I hate it with a passion. My roommate is always spraying air freshener for some reason, and I just hate the way it smells. Furthermore, I don't understand the logic of air freshener. It's like, the air smells rancid, so lets spray nice healthy chemicals in the air to make the air fresher, because that makes so much more sense. I mean, I get it's like 10 degrees outside and no one wants to open the window, but I'd rather open the window and freeze for 15 minutes than have to sniff in artificial air and chemicals. Is this just me?

I like freshener, it makes the room smell nice. Plus, my daily intake of chemicals must be satisified.

Fine, I'll just have the topic locked, because clearly I'm not allowed to complain about a simple thing like air freshener on a forum for a childrens game without being accused of being thoughtless about tortured people in North Korea, or starving people in third world countries.

Some air fresheners are okay, but some smell awful. And honestly, why is it a necessity to show care for third world starvation and stuff? You can care but it's not like that means you can't care about the problems that you face yourself, or affect you the most.
