Babys didnt even know some bad words used in lot of reputations reduction, the flaming rep wars is a giant trouble.

I just don't get how getting rid of reps makes us babies. It's like crying over spilled milk. It's not a big deal, and you just deal with it.

Why does everyone always take things so personally? It's like I say, Im going to give treejoe a rep, next thing all the rep is disabled because you complain. I say that rep doesn't matter, a bunch of people tell me that its starting flame wars? Here's a tip to dealing with me. I have opinions. (sound familiar?)

If its not a big deal failgirl, why did you care so much. Don't step back and pretend like it was us who cared enough to get it removed lol.

Honestly I couldnt give a crap about reps , even if fdoou (like he did) -reps me for no reason.Its just a simple number that tries to represent a forumer.And if people hate reps so much...y not just turn it off...there always was that option

It would've been okay if nobody actually retaliated when a hindrance in their reputation occurs because of a logical and valid reason. By then it turns into hindrance tennis.
It's also annoying when a group of friends try to make themselves forum greats by increasing each others' reputation whenever possible, either without reason or a reason that isn't deserving.
I'm glad the admins are creating a system similar to the reputation system, where users get feedback from other peers.

Because reps are stupid, they're like woots in EE. Having more woots doesn't necessarily make your level better, and there's no way to tell whether the owner gave a woot because the level was good or they felt forced to in some manner (like to get code). Likewise, reputation aren't always fair. Why should we judge others by a number? We are all equal without rep. You can know people for who they really are, instead of who their reputation creates them to be.

The only reason I miss rep is because I like giving people something for beating my map. A rep is more personal than a trophy/crown/cake/anything that ee can offer. People's opinions (wrong or right) shouldn't effect the opinion's of new people that come in, and see those negative numbers. They should form their own opinions of people, this is the same reason why alot of you probably hate middle/high school (although sometimes it feels like elementary school kids).

You're acting like this is the frickin declaration of independence. "Know me for who I really am!111!" "Equality for all! Down with reps!!! All forumers are not equal with reps" What are you even talking about. This is a forum, not the birth of a nation or something dramatic like that.

Nobody -repped you personally or even +repped anyone to spite you. As you seem to have missed my hilarious joke up above (treejoe caught it), I will say it again *except this time without copying your entire first post* : don't take things so personally!!
And Im saying that you seem to care so much about reps, enough to get them removed, and then act like "they're just a number". Please, if they are just a number then why did you care so much that somebody +repped treejoe for disagreeing with you? Its not like I said "Oh let me sabotage failgirl by repping treejoe heuehuehu shes going to pay for disagreeing with me! Oh look treejoe has more reps than her! Nobody will take her seriously now! I've never really liked rep to begin with it's stupid. I just got upset because I don't see the point of +repping people over this dumb topic, but whatever. Besides, from OP:

Stating an opinion and attacking someone are two different things. So seriously, stop taking things personally. If you get offended by what I say that is up to your own discretion, because I would never put a player on the spotlight to humiliate them.

I was just stating why I think rep is dumb. I didn't take it personally. I said if I had my rep on I'd have a bunch of -reps, but I never said I cared.

Please point out the part where I said I care about your stupid numbers. All I said was that I think rep is pointless, hence why I had it off. The fact that the mods took away all our rep may have had something to do with my opinions, but i never once stated we should just get rid of all the rep. I gave reasons why rep is dumb, but I never advocated to have it removed. I could've kept my rep on and still not cared, but again, if I think a system is stupid why would I partake in it? It's like saying you hate watermelon, and then eating watermelon just because everyone else is doing it.

I'm not contradicting myself at all, and in fact you have no evidence that the reason the mods turned the rep off was solely my fault. If I played a part, I was happy to do so, but other than that it is what it is.
