Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Now you took it too far. Now I do think you a complete moron, I don't even think you are worthy of arguing with. I mean honestly you need to have a simple mind to take pride in something you had nothing to do with.

Believe what you will. I don't actually think there's democracy in America, and to think so would be foolish, after all if there was real justice than real criminals would go to jail regardless of social class, though there is clearly inequality between the rich and the poor.

There is nothing wrong with being poor though, you just have to learn innovation. Having everything you want is boring. A perfect life is the most horrible life, because if your life is perfect you have nothing to live for. Better to live by societies false expectations than a miserable life where you get whatever you want. You would find after a while this is quite uninteresting, just look at people like Justin Bieber, I bet that poseur has more money than my friends and I combine, and what does he do? Graffiti? People should not be equal, I think that's BS. If we are all equal there's nothing to strive for, no way to be better than others. Being the underdog isn't inherently bad either, and I for one don't mind at all living with these fabricated social classes and believing that I have rights.
-
I should also mention, in regards to my original post, I believe what I say there to insofar as that is what I'm led to believe. The sooner you accept that society and values are just man made inventions imposed on us since birth, the easier, albeit depressing, life is.

What an absolute load of drivel, I don't think you even know what socialism is. It is the furthest thing from getting whatever you want when you want it.

You are even starting to sound like someone with some serve personality disorder.

Re: Favorite/Non-favorite countries?

Ack, I guess my last sentence in that prior post was out of place. No, socialism isn't about getting what you want when you want, and I know that. I suppose I should back up for a moment.
-
All I mean to say is, I'd rather live in an unbalanced and chaotic world where people are always struggling, rather than a balanced place in which we are all equal.
-
In practices like socialism people live on a communal society in which everyone takes care of each other. There is no private owner ship of factories.

Dictionary.com wrote:

1.
Socilaism: A theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.

I would abhor such a society because there is no emphasis on the individual, and furthermore requires collective agreement and cooperation which is impossible on a large scale.
-
When I say that, having a perfect life would be horrible, I meant insofar as that, if Socialism were to be successful life would would be perfect in that all people would get along and everyone would be able to perform the tasks for daily human survival.
-
I don't like working all the time. I like to play video games. I like to watch TV, I like to own my own stuff. I like to collect things, I like to have leisure, I like to be able to choose what I like, I like to be an individual. I can't be an individual in a system which requires all people to work together. And frankly, call me cruel, but I'm more worried about my myself and my family and my friends and the circumstances in my existence, than say the circumstances of a person who exists that I have never met before. I only have one life, and I would like to live it the way I want to live it. So even though Americas fake democracy and capitalistic endeavors cause much more suffering than a community which we are all equal, I prefer it much more because it's much more interesting. It leads to new ideas and innovations, advancement of culture etc... if the world were perfect than we wouldn't need new inventions. If people were not sick we wouldn't need doctors. If we were all born with the knowledge of life, we wouldn't need teachers. If we were born unto peace, what would be the purpose of life? Mind you that I am atheist, so it can't be god. I must have something to live for.
-
P.S. I don't have a personality disorder, unless you consider living a personality disorder. The only life is life on earth, and I'd rather enjoy my existence while I have it, rather than pray for my pitiful existence and hope to be better in the afterlife.

Re: Favorite/Non-favorite countries?

I don't think your dense mind can understand that socialism just basically means changing private ownership to government ownership of infrastructure, with services being provided by government only. I have no idea what the hell you are talking about. Socialism doesn't mean you can't collect your stupid materials or watch TV, it just means your not going to be allowed to run your own oil company.

Once again your invent your pseudo-intellectual philosophy and state it as fact.

Here's a newsflash sweetie, you are not clever

Still, there is no private ownership in Socialism. You don't have individualism, you are part of a herd. No matter who owns the factory, it's not the individual. You don't get leisure, not really, because you are busy supporting the herd.
-
This is getting incredibly off topic, and you don't need to be so condescending. Here's a newsflash, you're not any better than me. Just because I value the individual, and you apparently don't, doesn't make you right and me wrong.
-
You've already ruined this topic enough. I'm not arguing with you anymore. I'm perfectly fine on my own.

Are you actually stupid? Capitalism means an individual can buy out whatever he likes, charge whatever he likes, and allows a select few to bribe and run everything. Capitalism doesn't look at an individual, it just gives the working man the small chance to buy out and evict his neighbors. The West works like this. Socilaism works by everyone works for society, you work, you get the benefits.

Re: Favorite/Non-favorite countries?

I don't need advice from some kiddo with an internet connection. Your logic is shakeable, but it's pointless to argue with someone who clearly doesn't understand what I'm trying to say, and being condescending at that. Congratulations, we ruined yet another topic.
