Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Graphic Novels

I don't think, but perhaps I am mistaken, there has been a recent topic about graphic novels. I've read quite a few lately in my spare time, so I figured why not share them. I also want to know what other people have read as well. I'm not too keen on manga, but as long as it's a graphic novel I'll add it to the list.
Amazing Graphic Novels
Johnny The Homicidal Maniac
Squee
Superman: Red Son
Petrograd
Amphigorey
Dr. Horrible and other Horrible Stories

Re: Graphic Novels

The only graphic novels I've read are manga, and I'm reading a really interesting one at the moment called Liar's Game. It's about a foolishly honest and gullible girl called Kanzaki Nao who recieves a letter one day saying she has been entered in the Liar's Game. The letter also comes with 100 million yen. The rules of the game are simple; she just has to return the 100 million yen after 30 days when the Liar Game Officers ask for it, or else she will be in debt. However, she has an opponent who also has 100 million yen. If she can steal the money, or part of it she gets to keep it as a prize while her opponent is in debt. If the opponent steals her money then she is in debt, while the opponent gets the money as a prize. The aim of the game is to know whether you can trust your opponent or not, but also to outwit them. Liar's Game was written by the same guy who wrote One Outs, which is also kinda psychological like Liar's Game, but it's about baseball so it's also about different strategies needed to defeat an opposing team. There's also an anime based on One Outs, which I've seen, though I've never read the manga, even though it goes further than where the anime ended.
Other than Liar's Game, I'm also reading One Piece - a very popular manga. It's about a great pirate age starting after Gol D. Roger. the 'Pirate King' gave his final words before his execution, telling the whereabouts of all his treasures and riches, which he calls One Piece. And so men all over the world set out to find One Piece, including a man named Monkey D. Luffy, who ate a 'devil fruit' and became a 'rubber man'. I've been just watching the anime until the end of the Punk Hazard arc, but now I read the manga too. Actually the anime I watch now is actually called One Pace, which is One Piece but two episodes compressed into one with the unneeded parts cut out, because One Piece drags on a lot.
And that's all the graphics novels I read, One Piece manga and Liar Game manga.
