Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

That's mine. I don't know if it's bad or not. Thoughts?
Try for 3.

Well...
It depends on what grade you're in. If you're in ninth grade, or even tenth grade, there its not terrible. Cumulative GPA is also important. It also depends onwhat you want to major in/what schools you are applying to/what kind of school. For example, Im majoring in music, and most conservatories do not really look at GPA or grades (or sat or act) for admission, its solely audition. However, if it is a music school that is linked to a state school, such as Michigan, then gpa matters, but still not as much as if I was going into say, engineering.
Either way, I would still follow Different's advice and try for a little higher. A 3.0 or even a 3.5 should be doable depending on what grade you're in. Also, just out of curiosity, are you in AP/honors courses? Becauise those usually have weighted grades. If not, I would try some of those!!!
Don't worry! I would just really apply yourself next year.

I am in an MYP class (Japanese II) and am a sophomore... School is ending very soon so I'll be a junior soon.
MYP = IB (International Baccalaureate).
Well junior grades are what really matter. I just got through my junior year this year. Just work a lot next year and I think you'll be fine

Piece of advice: Take your Junior year as serious as cancer. It's not all fun and games like the past two years were, you need to get your work done. Plan to have it done several days before it's due and follow through on that plan. You can go back to taking naps in class your senior year.

P much this. Don't do what I did and procrastinate schoolwork like crazy. Its boring, its tedious, and its pointless most of the time, but for some reason that's what determines your future.... (I don't really jibe with the education system )
like I said, take AP classes so your grades are weighted. I have a 4.3 because of it :3
