Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

New Question: Hey guys, more school assessments This is a semi good question though, what do you eat for breakfast. Can be creative in this topic. If you want to actually help me on this assessment though, it would be helpful if you do this little survey:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1xb5qEt … Q/viewform
However I am not sure if surveys like this are allowed on this forum, hope I don't get a warning.

Old Question: Hey guys, I am doing an Economics assessment and I would like to know how many times would you go to the movies in 1 month if the price of tickets was $13.88 US and if the price of tickets increased to $15.27 US. It's a 10% increase in price and it would be very helpful, thanks

0 for both. People in my area don't really go to movies except maybe once or twice a year. It's too expensive. People here get DVD rentals from Redbox for a dollar and watch them at home on huge flat screen HDTVs.

I would never pay that much for a movie. I'd rather watch it online.

I'm with you there, can't beat Pirate Bay. Well maybe you can with Bay proxy.

this besides replace redbox with netflix and other "legal" methods and replace hdtv with my computer monitor (which also is hd)

Most of my movie watching is actually done through Amazon Instant Video on my Wii U.

None for both. At that price I could just wait until it came out on DVD and buy it for a few dollars more. Or I would watch it online. I go through serious debate on watching a movie that is $7

Are prices in New Zealand seriously that high? People in my class would go up to 3 times a month at these prices O_o

I don't go more than twice a year at the prices they are now... which is about $9 I think. At that cost, I probably would still go about twice a year.

Assuming I went to the movies, I'd question why it's so expensive and how hasn't the previous price covered it all.
If I had no choice but to go to theatres, I'd probably visit just as regularly; only if the movies are good.
The price increase might have people notice it, and they'll start talking about it. If/when that happens,
Nobody wants to dish out $15 for a movie they won't want to see. In a way, it will likely affect the theatre by having decreased visit rates for worse movies.
Since they need money to get better ones, their business will fluctuate in profits until it's shut down because they cannot afford to keep it running.

I don't go to the movies unless I'm going with someone. So not very often. Price isn't as much of an issue, more like trying to find a movie I want to watch.

About once a year, maybe twice.
Mainly as I don't watch movies unless I see one I like, or a friend SOMEHOW persuades me.
Though, I don't really mind about price.

Hoyts is one of the most popular cinema business throughout Australia and New Zealand and I am sure it's either a Duopoly or Oligopoly business meaning that high prices like the ones I listed won't affect it's sales much.

Hoyts is garbage. Off topic Rant:
Everything is overpriced. Ever tried going to the concession stand? (I think that's the right term, I'm talking about the place you buy popcorn etc.) Everything is really expensive, 2 medium popcorns and 2 drinks cost $30! They don't show the prices there either, and if you ask, the people that work there look at you like you are some sort of peasant.
Rants aside, do you have Village Cinemas in NZ? It's about 50/50 here in Aus between the two. Village seems to be cheaper (not biased I swear!), but I haven't done any research. That being said, both Hoyts and Village have no competition around each cinema (i.e. you don't see both in the same place, one or the other) so an increase in prices would **** off a lot of people, but nowadays (in my opinion at least), cinemas are more for the social aspect rather than watching the new movie.

I go approximately 6 times a year. And when I do, I don't care about the price that much because it's such a rare occasion.
So, 0.5 times per month. If it were increased... 0.5 times per month.
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

^I'm basically this, but only maybe once every year or two.

New Question: What do you guys eat for breakfast? Be creative or tell the truth both methods are interesting, any response is allowed in this topic as long as it follows the rules.

During school days, nothing or a muffin and chocolate milk. During non-school days, pretty much anything. Hot dogs, pizzas, toast, lunch meat, whatever I can find.

Personally I either eat cereal or sandwiches with tea for breakfast depending of when I get sick of eating them.
I heard 1nsanity eats babies for breakfast, probably just a rumor but I wouldn't be surprised.

Also there have been a few times when the "yes, I ate Nutella before" category failed a few times in the link I gave for the survey, might need to do that section twice for it to take your response. I think it's just google being google though, blame it.

I took the Nutella survey (though I've never eaten it before), and I usually eat cereal or french toast sticks for breakfast.
The nutella survey gave me traumatic flashbacks of the time I did hundreds of surveys to earn a cent for chat.
I don't want to relive that experience.
