I also believe that people from Britain like being referred to as British, although, again, I may be mistaken.

Very mistaken indeed.   In my experience, the only ones that want to be 'British' are those attempting to gain citizenship here.

Britain is an island.
The United Kingdom is also apparently a country, but one made up of 4 other countries including England.

I live in England, Britain, and the United Kingdom.   However, I am English and I identify with England.

Meh, I met an English guy once and he told me that I should say British. (Off-Topic: I didn't ask him or anything, it was kinda rude, but whatever) Anyway, whatever, I'm fairly certain all the people who have said "British" so far were English, so I will change it to that and add one. This is one old topic.

EDIT: Updated+ +repped all. Even the questionable ones, like "Greenland" which I can't tell if it is a joke or not, but people do live there, and I added it (as Danish, oc) anyway.

Why would I want to mingle with the Welsh or say hello to the Scots, I have noting against the Irish.
I get annoyed when aa drop down box says 'United Kingdom' "aaarrrgggg *ragequit* "
