Feel the Beats is a 7-key rhythm game in which the player must play through a song chart of their choice whilst keeping enough notes hit to not die from health loss. There are several different modes of classes which change the game in certain aspects during a period of time known as "flair mode", in which a button is pressed and the play-field hints yellow. An example of what happens can be, for the Glass Cannon class, a sacrifice of extreme health loss for a missed note, for x12 the usual note score. In addition, there are crazy mode options which make the play-field even more wacky and weird, whilst also boosting your score. If you, however, play like a novice, then there are some practise options which disables death while putting you very low on the leaderboards.

There are unfortunately limited charts to play (even though there's a large variety). The community for FtB is working at a good pace to increase the amount of charts, but we are running somewhat dry of song choices. What we would like is your submissions of songs that fit into the following categories:

-Not a release by a major label
(e.g. no songs by people who are constantly on TV's music channels. At least, not without permission.)

-Isn't a mishmash of spam
(e.g. no 960bpm speedcore.)

-Brings no offense to the community
(e.g. no racism or hatred. If any swearing, have it be indirect.)

-Isn't already charted
(type the name of the song into to see if it has been)

-One that we can get the .mp3 to without paying
(unless you have a high quality .mp3 and would like to give it somehow)

-Isn't several years long
(unless you'd like it to be a collaborative work)

I got to 56% on the Halo main theme.   Enjoyable, but I hate the setup for the keys.   Zero comfort.   I'll keep trying (hypocrite)

If you create an account, you can change the setup in the menu

to

(for example)
the black box on the end is the flair key.

As an osu player, I would give you a bunch of anime OPs and EDs, but I don't really know if you can do those. I don't think those are the kind of "free" songs...

It's too hard, there's too many keys, not worth spending time playing.

The keys are so it's possible to chart all the layers (such as the drums in synchronization with the melody);
a good example of this is RaptorJesus Died for our Sine Waves. (9nps)

If it's too hard, play songs that have low nps.
