In my country school begin on 15 September but in America I belive they started yesterday.

My school started last week.

I would say that America is weird because not all the schools start at the same time.
I believe it is different for different regions, and it is different for different types of schools eg college, high school

In my country school and hight school starts in same time. And I don't believe someone is on College.

Holidays start for me in November O.o then I go to university (College by US standards) So it's my last year of school.

I started school on Tuesday - but it was just sign ups for the morning and I have today off while they conduct interviews and manage timetables. I return properly tomorrow, dreading it.

My school started in February this year and is going to end in December. Why would school start in the middle of the year?

The school year doesn't end until November/December in Australia. However, as I am in Year 12 (the final year of high school) I'm finishing after my final exams (mid November)

I use to stare at my school too before, praying for a miracle... A meteor would have been awesome. But no... nothing...
I stared my school for nothing.

May to August? You guys have long holidays.

My first day of school this year was today. Usually ends around 20th July ish.
