Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Whoah whoah whoah, you Americans get ranked in class? Bloody hell that would annoy me if I wasn't at the top!
As for archenemies I don't really have one because (and Im sorry if this is too narcissistic for some of you) I think I'm better than some people in certain aspects (the ones that matter to me anyway).
I like to think you're always better at something than another person so make it count!
I hate when this happens.
You are friends with someone. You and your friend have everything in common. Years pass by and your friend starts becoming better than you... and better... You feel like running away forever.

U srs? Apparently you never watched Pokemon. Having a rival always makes you stronger, because you will continuously grow stronger as you try to beat them.
Noooo way. Ash is like the worst trainer in the world. He never grows stronger. He's just like "oh no I"m gonna use *fire type* on this *water type* because he's strong!!!!
Well in the game it does not work that way.

Ash isn't always strong trainer as far as pokemon battles, but he is strong in other ways. If you watch the Diamond/Pearl anime (or any other Pokemon anime) you see he also helps people, and pokemon. Even if he doesn't always become stronger himself, he is always inspiring other people to try their best and become stronger too. Winning isn't everything.
P.S. Sorry this is off-topic, you can PM me if you really care lol

I can't think of ever having a rival at something, I'm more of an ally (heh.) to anyone that could defeat me.
At the top of my mind, I can think of 2 or so people with a equal (if not higher) ability for social engineering.
I don't know many people that have a similar degree of interest in security and information gathering, but if there is, message me with my actual IRL name. Clever people should have a hint already. =P

I can't imagine being ranked in a class, is it an actual thing or just spoken?

I can see you as a Norman Dinkleburg living on an island north of Michigan surrounded by computers and virtual and real firewalls.

Its an actual thing. Its on your transcript and everything. that's how we determine valedictorian.
So for example, like I said there are 400 people in my grade (class, year, whatever) and out of them i'm "ranked" number 9. Its a little bit slanted because people who take music, or art, for example, can never really be in the top five because those classes are not weighted.
Weighted is like Advanced Placement classes, you get 5 points for an A instead of the standard 4. So if you take a music class, your GPA will always be a little lower than those who don't
EDIT: Also I have to vent about my enemy real quick lol. So we are both in multiple orchestras together, as I said, last year I was placed ahead of her, but this year she beat me. She is #1 and I am #2 (out of 12 violists). So she keeps calling me her "good little assistant". It makes me want to kill her.
Let me describe her to you. She has no emotions. Like not even kidding she has the deadest stare I have ever seen. If you've seen Finding Nemo then you know Darla, the girl who shakes the fish bags. Imagine that stare except more emotionless and manipulative.
Ugh. Ive never really hated anybody before but shes getting there.

The valedictorian of my high school sounds exactly like your arch enemy. She was a huge over achiever, always seemed to be happy, always seemed to be just slightly better at everything, and never seemed to have any problems in the world. Though as it turns out, at least according to my mom (because apparently my mom had known this girls parents since we were babies), her parents were very controlling of her. They made her participate in all these extra activities, and I also think she was trying to overtake her older sister (who was clearly the favorite child.)
So I more felt bad for her, than was jealous of her. I might not be as outgoing as the #1 student in my class, but at least I'm happy. I used to say to people, I see that girl always smile but she never really looks happy.
